Just bought a used unit year 2018. Older model. Mileage 85k km.
What should i look for dear owners? Is auto gear oil cooler something i must change first? Any good workshop to recommend?

QUOTE(vliamcoo @ May 29 2025, 10:31 AM) Yes. Anything special about it?QUOTE(Betrue @ May 29 2025, 05:52 PM) Newer bezza facelift 2020 x variant actually better, free from useless eco idle. Older facelift x variant missing hill hold assists. If buy the car for grab must well buy new rm45k, few months can get back the deficits. Eco idle? Mine 1.3 have that eco logo appearing on slower speed. It doesn't have engine-off while idle and start as i accelerate. Most of the 2nd hand bezza used for grab before, else is a regretful purchase of under power 1.0L unit. When mileage around >130k km, oil cooler, atf filter must be changed to avoid gearbox kong, repair damage very costly rm3k+ if kena P0730 ratio problem which common to 4at aruz, myvi and bezza. I will have a change of that gearbox cooler tomorrow even it's at 85k km. Where do u recommend changing ATF filter, SC or do it outside? Do recommend any shop you know of. The gearbox seems ok but overall the car is noisy. Never test drive a new bezza before to differentiate how a smooth/normal bezza would be. One more, there is a spanner logo with mileage counting down in driver panel. What is that? ![]() This post has been edited by Chisinlouz: May 30 2025, 01:40 AM |

QUOTE(Betrue @ Jun 3 2025, 11:27 AM) Maybe previous owner already installed eco idle bypass cable. I have yet to visit a 3rd party Bezza specialist. Perhaps get an ATF oil change + atf filter at SC during next oil change about 90k. Will take note on 5w30. If 85k km no need change atf filter/oil cooler yet, go SC change atf oil. Atf filter and oil cooler i changed at champ factor permaisuri cheras mileage around 140k+ km because when i enter reverse gear the car jerk and got loud sound. Car running noisy because maybe used too thin engine oil, don't use 0w 20 for car over 100k km, use 5w 30. Spanner logo means due to service dy, normally logo came out near every 9k+ km. I change my gearbox cooler already for peace of mind. About 3xx include labor. I normally do long and slow trip over 3-4 hours continuously and will do ehailing. I take that as "insurance" keeping the car on the road. Probably add an external oil tank for gearbox just like my 4x4 but to study how Bezza's mechanism work first. My foreman advised there is no need to change that because normally it will work fine under nornal driving conditions. What he don't know is i might drove the car for extra long hours in a day. QUOTE(vliamcoo @ Jun 5 2025, 03:43 PM) I own 3 and all are all used car. The lesson learnt is I'm now pretty good in handling car problems. 1st gen Bezza is the easiest car to maintain imo. No point getting new (2nd/current gen) if everything is almost the same. QUOTE(RiriRuruRara @ Jul 6 2025, 11:23 PM) Wta can every repair to car can be done by outside mechanics or there are some things that only Perodua can fix and outside mechanics can’t?? If new and you care about warranty just go back to SC. And yes many mechanics know how to service the car. It's very basic. This post has been edited by Chisinlouz: Aug 16 2025, 04:47 AM ktek liked this post
