There are some alignment shops that do without the machine/computer.
They do with strings and measuments.. Like how they used to do before computers. A lost art. They are mainly for racing cars that are modified and the computers don't have the measurements as these setups are specialised for individual cars or drivers.. U have to cari la.. Ask the racing community where they align in ur respective town/area.. Or some old school alignment shop. |

QUOTE(xin @ May 21 2020, 02:54 PM) Most dongles now can support WinCE unit as well, since Perodua HU all are WinCE based so i give it a try. The downside is that it is not as responsive or seamlessly integrated compared to android unit. Champion!! The WinCE version of files can be downloaded below: http://121.40.123.198:8080/AutoKit/AutoKit-WINCE.rar Try to find the dongle that uses AutoKit app an you're good to go. And yes, touch screen working like a charm but still abit slow which i rekon its the HU CPU. But nevertheless it works. I'll post a step by step on what to do later. hehe WinCE??? Man... That's Windows 3.1 from the late 80s man.. |

QUOTE(BezzaPremiumX @ Jun 18 2020, 12:40 PM) ?? Tot maint-free batt is sealed? So they gonna pry open & resealed? I m on those conventional type batt & realised recently it leaked out fr the caps with the residues. Wondering what could cause it other than overfilling. But it has never been filled when new in dec 19. the shop is in KL, old klang road.they are the main distributor wor... (so they say, but i do see other peoples coming to get stuff of their shelves) the guy, Fizi, said that to go to him for a free top up, when the warranty period of 18 months is almost up... nice fella.. """Wondering what could cause it other than overfilling."" mabbe was overfilled when 1st installed..? wash the white sulfur from ur battery, dont top up the battery, and check to see if leaking still occurs.. if not then, observe the level where the water is at, in the battery and fill up till that level... meaning that, that level is optimum for ur driving condition... but shouldnt be below minimum level la.... if u drive alot, the battery charges very often and builds up heat and sometimes boils... ps. glad u peeps are healthy and safe... u know what i mean... QUOTE(zenjet @ Jun 18 2020, 01:19 PM) Hi Sifus, a budget vs heat rejection Just got the Perodua Bezza, what kind of tint should I get for it? Thanks in advance for the inputs. max ur budget for the best heat rejection.. go for branded tints for peace of mind unbranded ones if u are feeling adventurous... better heat rejection does not naturally equate to darker tints tho... driving behind a car with black tint is like driving behind a mpv/suv/lorry... cannot see beyond the front car and cannot see if in front have emergency.. |

just changed my front brake pads to ferodo pads...
these pads are just normal pads and not particularly rated for heat resistance, so not much need to warm up to start working like their performance pads. overall, they brake with the same performance as the pads from factory. not much brake dust after 2 weeks of usage. lazada price is abt rm120 iirc... oso finally changed all bridgestone ecopia to continental cc6, standard size. now the car is much quieter and better bump absorption... ecopia has slightly better grip, cc6 seems to loose grip earlier.. but like most tires of these sort, the loss of grip is gradual, so learning where the limit is, is easier... cant tell the fuel savings between these 2 tires cos of different driving conditions... but i like the comfort of the cc6 eventho at the cost of loss of grip (slight loss), but then again, we were not starting with that much grip in the 1st place... lol |

QUOTE(andrew9292 @ Aug 28 2020, 09:48 PM) Ferodo pads? Went for ant prolong downhill like Genting n any comment? no man... didnt go to genting so cant tell abt the fading..I changed to TRW DTEC, but Gotong Jaya downhill at last few bends start to fade..only 3 passengers. Original Daihatsu pads (RM3xx SC) had no issue even with 5 pax. Granted they r 3-4times more expensive but really thinking to go back or seek other option... Ah CC6 kaki! Find that less than 250kpa, going over speed bump d tyre compresses instead of d springs n shock... Have to drive it somewhat like a go-kart, balance the nose up or down n lesser of left-right, Bezza doesn't really like forced left-right weight balancing anyway unlike old Myvi...fun times most tires except run flat tires, if less air pressure then more flex... but more flex also means that during cornering, the tires will flex and loose grip faster... take it all in balance between comfort and outright cornering grip. personally, i prefer comfort ya man... bezza is really sprung high... must cater for empty and full weight difference... almost like a rally car, lol with just driver, more comfort la.. yay... at 42k km, 3 y.o. i find that the rubber suspension bushings is going.... hearing some clunking noises when i go over unevenness... |

QUOTE(spikey2506 @ Sep 22 2020, 06:35 PM) But once the engine is off usually there is enough vacuum for 2-3 presses of the brake before it goes hard right? U can test this straight away after switching ur engine off. But mine will go hard straight after parking a while. My experience is just 1 pump and the brake hydrolic system will loose preasure... Mabbe there's air in the system but that usually translate to sponginess of pedal feel.. But what u describe is really no big deal. 404,these are not the droids u are looking for.. Read that some of u guys have programming issues after changing batteries..
As i posted earlier, when changing batteries, make sure the vendor have a small motorcycle 12 v battery to connect to car terminals so as to keep the car charged before disconnecting the terminals from the car battery. A simple thing to do but which will save u alot of headaches.. Best bet to solve most of ur problems is to go to perodua and get them to reboot the ecu, or reinstall the drivers for the problems u facing, be it the BT of the head unit or start/stop functions. U need the perodua software to do this.. Electrical/electronics of cars, even the basic bezza is more complex nowadays compared to olden cars with none or minimal ecu functions.. I understand that most info we posted is lost in the loooong thread that is lowyat forum rather than breaking it down to individual threads for different specific problems but that's the way it is.. So have to be rajin and read thru the past threads to learn as much as u can.. I don't post much nowadays cos alot of questions have actually been answered earlier. Just need to go search for it.. This "forum" won't survive without people like singk, just Bella, spree, just to name a few, that are so rajin to answer the same questions again n again.. Lol Kudos to them and if I didn't name u, my apologies, u know who u are. Sorry for the rant. Totally uncalled for.. But really people, read the past posts, tons of info there.
