Guys i already asked 2 different Perodua mechanic to look into my car and both says there is no problem. My warranty is just 1 more year left. So if there no problem and it is normal then you guys your car should be like this too???

The problem that i notice for a while now is when your car is at a stop position, example stop at red light, then when time to go you press hard on the accelerator my car will have a very noticeable TikTikTik sound for a few seconds. Do you guys notice this in your car? 1.3 version.
*
that's engine knocking. yes, normal since bezza engine compression ratio is pretty high for an NA engine. for my bezza it happens on low rpm small throttle opening and higher engine load (imagine going up a light slope with aircond on), something like below 1500rpm, 40ish kmh. ANyway, it could be different range for different car as the ECU fuel trim setting is different based on the driver's driving behaviour.

Thanks for the reply dude. Bcs I really have a hard time believing these service guys. Also they charge me rm100++ to service air-con, total for my last service is rm370.

I was expecting my air con to be freezing cold like new after getting service, but I can't tell any difference from the servicing. It feels the same as before. How to know do these service guys actually do what they charge you for???
*
unless your aircond is super dirty and near to fail before the service, don't expect it become freezing cold after service.
typical aircond service involves replacing the compressor oil and charging the compressor with new gas. Oil & gas already a big portion of money already.

How to know do these service guys actually do what they charge you for??? --> Easy, stay in service center and see them do their works.

Haha

Hi....after i change new car battery which is camel m42 auto start stop car battery...however after drive for few days the auto start stop still not working? Is it the new car battery problem or the car itself? Really need send back to service center change battery for auto start stop feature? I change outside because service center too expensive rm507.....
*
heard one of the trick is pull off the battery terminal for prolong time like 5 to 10 minutes, some even press the stop start button in order to drain the remaining power in the system, and it works. Let us know if it does works.

Anyone have experience with Michelin XM2+ tyres?

Planning to upgrade my stock tyre from 175/65 R14 to 185/70 R14
*
comparatively more quiet compared to stock hankook tyres.

Actually car engine oil can be replaced in 1 year interval as long as using FULL SYNTHETIC.

But you won't want to take any warranty void risk, as this is how car manufacturer marketing strategy work. Or else how they going to find income?

without getting oxidized or losing the performance even after 6 months? shocking.gif

Those of you still servicing at SC, do you change ur auto gb filter? Coz I can't seem to find official guide from P2 as to when should we  change and if SC has that service. Weirdly, cant seem to find it in the servicing schedule as well.
*
atf filter is not mentioned in the maintenance schedule. if you really care about your gearbox, perform atf change every 40k km, and then get the atf filter changed when your car is 120km. assuming 20k km per year of mileage, your car is already 6 years by the time the atf filter gets changed.

can't imagine where/what is gas door, can describe?
*
fuel cap door, the big rectangle metal piece (body coloured), located at the left side of the car, that thing you need to open when you want to refuel. The toggle is pull from the driver seat. brows.gif

Yeah P2 told me CCA low but I didn't even bother asking their price cos most probably overpriced tongue.gif
*
they should notify you what is the reading for the CCA, the value of it vs the spec, i remember the spec is 410 and the reading should be in 2xx range or even maybe lower than that like 1xx until they tell you such thing.

the wet cell from sc is surely a pricey stuff. And currently nobody knows how long other EFB able to last compared to the original wet cell that come from the car. So far the wet cell on my car is still running and still able to have the eco idle kick in (albeit it can't sustain for long period like when it's new), it's been a 2y5m on the battery itself, clocked total of 140 hours of idle stop and still counting.

For me, i would pay the price of sc battery IF and ONLY IF it is proven last longer compared to other third party cells.Just my own preference.

i actually also jz came back from 80k km service, was told brake pad left 20% and was offered two options:
a) pro-ganti (pad without kit) rm137
b) ori (pad comes with kit) rm303  >> fyi, stock is using ori

since less driving due to xMCO, thus changing brake pad is not urgency now.

question, SA recommended ori one, can last twice the pro-ganti, also it is less dust.. but do we really need that? does the kit really needed?

i actually has standby Bendix General CT (since year 2018, bought during promo), does this equiv to Ori one (though Bendix without kit)?
*
i also wondering what's those kits about. guess my bezza also having the brake pad replacement coming ahead.

was chatting to mechanic (outside mechanic), he also say ori oad last longer, outside pad can't last as long as the ori pads. bendix pad only can tahan longer comparatively he says. but still, no fight for ori pad, of course the price also no fight for ori pad. brows.gif

I just changed my Bezza tyres 2 weeks ago.. Was thinking of either Michelin XM 2 or back to Hankook stock tyres..

Michelin XM 2 was RM 170 and Hankook was RM 120.. Changed to Hankook instead
