Tried Caltex over the week, I'd say

Caltex - Moderate Savings, Moderate Power

Bro, that post 2018.... Haha

I fetch a pax told me caltex is the best fuel told by his friend who work in fuel industry.

Caltex do give smoother gearchange and power delivery, it make the overall ride smoother while FC is quite good, not as good as shell though.

I would recommend use shell or caltex over bhp, petronas, petron.

for me, bhp, caltex are usually tied. Shell in the middle, then follow by petron and petronas.

Hi guys, anyone know who i can ask to get confirmation on warranty? I want to change rims and i ask around some say they "think" it should be ok and 1 guy even told me if i change anything at all perodua would completely void my whole car warranty.
Anyone know which is the most reliable service center in malaysia to ask this? I just want to change my rims, size remains the same it just a different color and design that all.

I'm not much help, but I think sending an email or giving a call to Perodua HQ could help?

wta are absorbers important part of the car? Bcs today I sent my car for service and when in the traffic lights while on the way back home I saw in the receipt it says recommend to replace rear absorber leaking.

So I called the service agent that dealt with me, he apologizes to me says he didn't see it and that he will change it during the next service. The next service for me will be in six month, is it really ok to be driving with a leaking absorber for 6 months???

Absorbers are for absorbing the rebounds of ur springs.
Leaking absorbers are no big deal.
It's still working in a way..

If ur car feels rock hard, then ur absorber is dead/stuck.

If ur car feels very bouncy means the absorber is not working.
Press the car down and the car shud just rebound to normal height in just 1 rebound.
If car bounce more than once till settle on normal heights means bouncy.

Danger lies in taking fast sweeping corners at speed cos the car is bouncy.thus not stable in the corners.

Otherwise, don't drive so fast..

Is there aftermarket shock absorbers and springs for bezza?
Like Hot Bits or Titan with their rebuilderble shocks?

Hmmm

Took a drive to Penang, was on Petronas going up, kept around 100/110, occasional 130 to overtake.
Arrived with 2 bars, about 80km range left.

Going around the island and coming back, was on Caltex. Same thing, 100/110, but this time there was a 1 hour crawl of 10km/h as they closed off the opposite lane for roadworks.
Still came back with 3 bars, and a range of 130km.

Mileage was 15.6km/l still far from the advertised 22km/l biggrin.gif probably need to spend more time on the highways.

To achieve 22km/l u need to cruise around 80/90 and not 100/110. Keep rpm just a little bit 2000 consistently. Try it again next time.

Your 3rd last paragraph got me a little worried now, bcs I am going to genting in a few days. In the receipt it says only the right rear absorber is leaking, should be ok???

Also question 2. Usually after I get my car service they always but the bottle of the remaining engine oil on the floor of the front passenger side. But the past 2 times after servicing my car they didn't put it anymore. Did they change their SOP or something???

maybe share abit about how the fuel power, noise, etc

For me caltex give smooth drive, shell could give better FC, but I found noisier and less power. Petronas they promote new fuel which I do feel almost same as caltex but caltex were still a grade higher. BHP were not powerful on bezza don't know why. Petron high FC and slightly better power than shell only. I think the tuning of car make everycar suit different fuel + everyone want different thing thus fuel choice is all personal preference.

No confirm answer here but only related part as I know, suspension part will be voided.

I tried before claim item which they promise will call me about 1 week after send the request to HQ , but they never call back , and inspection charges is rm20+ , i thought it was free. Then for one problem they know what was it but they need it to occur and take record as a prove, so I have to leave the car there about half day. Another problem they told me standard operation. I believe them before this, after so long and seen so many people complaint about SC keep saying that's normal, no problem etc, I doubt. So if after driving about few year and think the car is OK, I would say warranty is not needed. I still recommend to go SC service for quality item but no need to go on time for low mileage travel, while high mileage travel going outside workshop could save alot.

What's the milage of ur car?

Thru 35 years of driving, I've never seen any absorber explode.. Lol
The absorber won't affect so much la..

And genting?
Going up, no power and going so slow..
Coming down, if u r speeding, then ur brakes will hangus and u end up taking the side of the mountain to come down with a crash..
U shud be coming down with ur gear on 2 and braking all the way down with speeds at the steepest at not more than 30kmh.

Tho it's good to be aware of situations, but don't over think it la..

U can remove ur absorbers from ur car and still make it up and down genting..
It's just very bouncy and u adapt ur driving style to adjust lor..

I had being using shell 95 and petron 95 for a few yrs. Shell FC is better than petron based on experience. But, this yrs i tried petronas 95 wif pro drive, it made my bezza pick up faster than other brands. Even my brother feel the new petronas 95 fuel perform better on his honda city and Toyota avanza too.
