A low risk investment would be to buy shares in a blue chip company that gives high dividend. A recession is coming, you might want to hold your money for 6 months and then dive in once share prices fall 20%

A franchise is still a business. Just that your are paying fees for a premade brand, so your company is already known.

I think it would be safer and cheaper if you operated an ice cream machine stand. The cheap ice cream that mac donalds sells for RM1 to RM2 (upto RM4 for more fancy ice cream)

Just find a shopping mall with a lot of foot traffic and young children.
