Im using standard Benks 0.3mm TG - works like a charm. The rounded edges are smooth and their packaging is superb for a sub RM30 TG.

Anyway, I find the iPad Pro really versatile. I totally abandoned my laptop at home, just using for browsing, writing notes on multiscreen, editing photos on Lightroom, just a breeze to use and the screen on Dolby Vision on Netflix is so beautiful.

Now if I go to a cafe just to chill and spend some 'me-time', the iPad Pro is my to-go.

Bro, what size is your iPad Pro?

11 inch.

Any bigger is quite troublesome to carry around.

Thanks for the advice. I am planning to get one in US but was struggling which size to get. Since I am not using it as a laptop replacement, more for consuming contents...I think I will just get the 11inch. And like u said, more portable and less troublesome to carry around.

Pen Storage via pocket, really like this style instead of the usual storage inside the case which extends the width making the whole size bigger than it should
user posted image

Some stylish ventilation lol

Magnetic Pen Slot (Nice part is that it is lightly covered to protect the aluminum frame from wear/tear)

Very strong magnetic grooves with many angles to suit your need

Some cons on this case which I already expected before I bought it:
1) The inner cover flap which is the suede/microfiber type will probably be a lint magnet. Which brings to the biggest drawback, when propped up that microfiber lining will be lying on the surface. Meaning if your table is dirty... your flap touching your screen would get dirty as well.

2) It is heavier than I thought, I think it feels even heavier than my Spigen Folio Case!!

Notes:
Was worried it wouldn't be compatible with TG on as what I've read in some reviews. So far it fits like a glove with my TG.

Nice case....but it looks like made by Proton...hahaha...

Hi guys....

I have Airpods but the battery cannot tahan long...need to pop it back to the case to charge every hour or so. I have some orginal Apple 3.5mm earphones lying around and thought maybe I can use it as backup.

So do you all use the original USBC C to headphone jack adapter from Apple to use ur 3.5mm headphone? Or you guys use something better? Mind sharing your solution?

Most likely will get that too...all the 3rd party that I see on Lazada do not look promising at all... sweat.gif

I’m using the pro 12.9 2018 now, upgraded from the 2017 12.9, and also using the iPad mini 5..

As much as I like the new iPad mini due to its mobility, I find myself mostly using the iPad Pro at home/office..I use them for the same apps and the experience is a world of difference...I mean the iPad mini get things done, it’s powerful and all but you don’t feel the luxury as you get on the pro...but again, the pricetag is also x3 sweat.gif
*
Agree...I had ipad Mini (not the latest one) and new 11" iPad Pro 2018. My iPad mini is now a white noise generator for me baby room. Hahahaha....

Been using the iPad Pro 100% of the time.

haha IMO its not that fragile (unless you drop it then its gone case)...actually before i bought it i hop into machines and play around with the display unit... as in use it rough on purpose, knock on the table etc (dont get caught though) lol

ohhh...look like you like to live a dangerous life....hahaha...

It’s very, very thin at 5.5mm. After watching Jerry’s video, I felt very insecure handling it, honestly.
The older generation Pro feels more sturdy bro, but yes, your do everything on the bed with the iPad statement really does sound wrong, hahaha...
*
I only use mind with the Smart Keyboard Folio from Apple. I got UAG but found it too bulky to my liking. Hence, 99.99% of the time, it is just with the thin folio case...

Seem like I like to live a dangerous life too biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Guys any recommendations for apple pencil 2 casing?
*
I think putting it in a pencel box looks cool....hahahaha.

Anyway, I personally kinda like this. U can still use it with the case and attached it to the iPad even when it is in the case. Kinda convi thought. If anyone buying, I would like to ride on. We can share the shipping... rclxms.gif

iPadOS? Well, didn’t see that coming laugh.gif

Was expecting some major upgrade on iOS for iPad, but didn't expect them to rebrand it as iPadOS. But all features are super welcome and I can slowly ditch my laptop.

In fact, i just made an air ticket booking, checking-in and printing (AirPrint) of boarding pass all with my iPad Pro last night. And the experience was very fluid and good. icon_rolleyes.gif

i think this split makes sense. as iPad and iPhone are totally different devices. With a new iPadOS introduced for iPads, hopefully it will make it a 'tablet-like' MacOS.  tongue.gif

Yes. Agree. And I read many ppl online are asking for multi-users support as they see iPad as a family device where everyone should get their own login and setup.

I personally don't really need that, but don't mind if they offer. As to me, iPad is also a very personal device to me. Not sharing with family. They can get their own...hahaha...

For those who have Apple smart keyboard, can consider "UAG Scout iPad Pro" case for protection. Just got mine and really like it.

How’s the weight with that case? The Smart Keyboard cover itself already make the device quite heavy...

anyone can recommend me good and cheap keyboard case for ipad pro 11.
since ipadOS coming soon, i thinking to get keyboard to pair it as my alternative to my laptop while i traveling mainly browsing, emailing and some work tru company web base application
*
Unfortunately there aren't much supported keyboard case out there. I only know Apple and Logitech Slim Folio. Logitech is definitely cheaper than Apple. But not at China made kind of "cheper" level. You might be able to find some China made online, but I am not familiar with them. There are some bluetooth keyboards that supports, but there are not a case.

If this is for work (some times) and since you have spent 4K on the ipad. I think for best experience...try the Logitech if Apple's one is too expensive. The Logitech is around 420-450 on Lazada. Almost half the price of Apple.

Well, it’s not a keyboard case, it’s a slim keyboard so can’t compare.  I don’t go for keyboard case cos for me it’s quite inconvenient when u do normal browsing on couch, you’ll press the key when it’s folded.
*
I think that's the smart part of the Apple Smart Keyboard. I notice when I fold the keyboard part over the back for normal browsing, the keys are disabled. You will not accidentally pressed the key. The virtual keyboard will pop up when you need to type. I think you test that out in Apple Resellers.

its not tough built but its actually not too fragile if used properly, with casings etc.... unless intentionally bending it, or perhaps drop it real hard bypassing the protection from casing..
*
Ya...especially when people use it without case or with a weak case and put in backpack...then sit down and lean with the back pack on the bag...

Good!! You will surely enjoy the device. Do let us know your "review" once you installed the iPadOS. Can't wait for the final version to be available for public.
