12.9-inch u pretty much needs to use it like laptop. There is no way you can use it like a tablet which you can hold it like 11-inch and below. You need to place it on table to use it.

This is the reason why I will never get the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. I would rather stick to my 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Yeah.. I guess I'll use this at home. Will only bring the 11 pro when I'm going out.

* was thinking it will be great with 12.9 when using with sidecar feature.

Yeah, I think the 11-inch is the best, usable to use as a ‘portable’ monitor as side car when outside especially using with portable 13-inch MacBook Pro.

I always prefer larger screen... even MBP, I got the 15". Upgrading to 16" soon. (If I managed to sell my 15")

But when I checked it out the 12.9 at shop, I feel it is still ok. Forgot that I need to put on some protective case on it.

I also prefer larger but prob is that it is not portable.

That’s the reason why I bought 13-inch MacBook Pro. But if I am buying again, I will choose base modem 16-inch despite the weight. As buying higher end 13-inch MacBook Pro is almost same price as bass model 16-inch while it is way better in any single way.

Getting the slightly higher range of the base 16" model. Because of the discount I'm getting, it will be cheaper than the base model price.
If not, I'm getting the base model too. For the price, it is very very tempting. biggrin.gif

I'm using the Logitech Slim Combo for my iPad Air 3 and it's not slim at all too, hahaha. But I do like that it has backlight and the key travel feels much better than Apple's Smart Keyboard. You bought the keyboard locally? Mind asking what's the damage? smile.gif

Yes. Other than the thickness, there's no complain on this keyboard case. It provide way more protection for the Ipad than Apple's smartkeyboard.
Also like the keys travel and the shortcut keys.

Yup, got it locally at about RM5xx. Forgot exactly how much... just paid and walked out. Left the box and receipt at the shop. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Yes, it's very sturdily built. I bought mine for SGD150 in Singapore so that's about RM450 here. Solid for the price but the down side is the weight and bulkiness.

RM5xx seems OK.. I'm contemplating to switch back to the iPad Pro now that it's being offered by maxis.

Actually the price of the iPads under Zerolution is very close to the RRP with almost no discounts..

https://www.soyacincau.com/2019/12/16/maxis...lte-zerolution/

The only reason I’m considering it is because unless you buy an iPad from them, you can’t subscribe to their tablet plans which I’m eyeing. I’m currently paying RM48 per month for the supplementary line for my iPad which is a waste considering I can’t text or make calls from my iPad. I’m looking to go with the RM18/month plan which will be substantially cheaper.

Yeah, RM18 for 5GB data is the cheapest available in the market now. Even with principal line need to buy iPad from them only can get this plan. Horrible...

I understand ipad pro got a common display defect, which is the "bright spot".
My less than 1 year ipad pro got that problem.

just chatted with Apple support online..
According to the support, the display defect bright spot could be resulted by 3rd party cover that cause the heat building up.
Any comments?

Also would like to check if it is possible to have my ipad serviced/ repaired in Singapore?
Or i can only refer back to Malaysia service centre?

Thanks.
