well i've had my macbook air since early 2014 but then last year my MBA got stole as they broke into my car sad.gif

thought of buying a windows laptop but I'm satisfied with my MBA and its performance and portability (light and 12 hours battery) as I've had a windows laptop before my first MBA.

Same, my MacBook Air is also since 2014 and it runs as smooth as it did on day 1 four years ago. Don’t think a Windows laptop can do that laugh.gif

The best Apple Event I've seen in a while. MacBook Air with Retina display (like finally!) and the revolutionary iPad Pro (with USB-C). The introduction ads are truly amazing. No doubt Apple's marketing is superb. All looks amazing except for the price. Personally I think they are charging higher than they should, with the addition of USD-MYR conversion which makes it look overpriced. Don't get me wrong, I do use Apple products such as iPhones and MacBook Pro, and I do think that the money spent on them is worth it in a long run (with their excellent build quality, customer service etc.)

Seriously the MacBook Air positioning is also quite weird. It is actually close pricing with MacBook Pro non-touchbar and touchbar.

Haha meanwhile we can't justify the price sweat.gif, but sometimes one can think of the bright side. It can be super useful for creators and musicians. It can magnetically attached to the iPad Pro (I know the Microsoft Surface done it long time ago) but it can be wirelessly charged too when attached! And there's a sensor for taps which can be used in Photoshop and soon even more apps to act as a shortcut (e.g. zoom in and out of Photoshop 2019 by double tapping). That's amazing! thumbup.gif

exactly. the macbook 12-inch and macbook pro 13-inch without touchbar look redundant now.
