Not really. If you got the CD just rip it and play in emu, done. That's not piracy.

i bought FFVII portover during PS3 time. they even emulate the long loading....

Disappointed. I wish Sony use in-house emulator instead of open-source emulator. Skip for me. Anyway I still have a working PS1 FAT in my collection.

Yeap. Sony was incredibly lazy.
They could have
1. Use a better SOC.
2. Remote play a ps4 ala vita TV.
3. Online play ps1 classics
4. Provide usb DualShock 1 controllers.
