I'd be following this thread pretty closely. Wondering what you'll do for this case...(I'm still using this old case for my own rig. In fact i've got 2 of them. One which is even older where there's no side panels, the whole case cover opens in one piece, and the other which i'm using which is totally identical with yours.)

Btw, ur case looks pretty well kept from the outside.

Ya, perfect measurements are important. I've actually planned on my mod as well before this, but it was just a side panel mod into a windowed side panel with side intakes.

7 years, my casing should be as old as yours. And the other older one could be 10 years already.(the older one was in the P II 400 days). Btw, i've made some measurements before this and the rear could actually fit in a 92mm. However it must be inch perfect in terms of cutting or you'll ruin the whole case.

Maybe you could consider putting a 92 mm there? brows.gif

Mind if i ask you something, what did you used to do the cutting, a jig saw? I was thinking of cutting my side panel with a jig saw, but i'm not sure if it will bend my case.

Yea perfect measurements are very important in modding brows.gif , but im not planning for 92mm ,sticking to 80mm,
The Tools i use is Black & Decker RTX 1, file etc etc lots of tools i have brows.gif .well a jigsaw u can cut side panel make sure u get the correct blade for it.it wont bend unless u made accidently push an angle ur blade will patah + bend ur side panel shocking.gif

wont your rig be noisy considering you add 5 fans into it although it depends whether you are using a silent/ low cfm fan or a noisy one it is best to reduce the number of fans to what you need only no need to overkill smile.gif

Since 5 fans in use, maybe can use some lower CFM lower noise fans instead of having 1-2 high powered fans.

Btw, this case has insufficient intake and exhaust slots on stock, so the lack of intake and exhaust can only be made up by adding fans either on top or at the sides.
