5999 one is not santa rosa lah.
btw, the new macbook pro (15", 2.2 GHz, santa rosa) is sold at USD$ 1999, which if converted to ringgit according to today's exchange rates, is about RM 6800. and according to US Apple site, u get free shipping too! so no need target the RM 10,000+++ ones la...

do you think they provide free shipping to malaysia or within USA only ? that is one critical thing .
and forget about exchange rate . thing's aren't so straight forward. if you are buying the latest macbook black , USD1499 , conversion to MYR is MYR5000 if you are refering to the exchange rate today . but all the apple malaysia is selling it at RM5999 . if your direct conversion of USD1999 to MYR6800(1:3.4) . it is correct for the exchange rate . but it doesnt really quite correct for retail pricing .
by the way , mid-valley
Machines is selling it at RM7800 n 9600 .

5999 one is not santa rosa lah.i was told by the reseller that the new MB is santa-rosa-ed, i am not quite sure on it ... but... if it isn't it make sense for me to buy my blackbook ... kekeke ... at least still non santa roasa , new also non santa... .mine is not santa-rosa-ed. if that is the 2.16Ghz model. i would say it wont make much difference if it is not running on full potential .
sorry i didnt check out the new pricing .
i am refering to my friend's macbook pro when he bought his macbook 2 months ago.
