You can try FFView, quite similar to ACDSee.

Btw, anyone managed to get 'feh' working on OSX? I miss it!

Hi, I use iViewMediaPro for pictures other than photos imported into iPhoto. I find it useful and easy to use. Just drop a folder of pictures (iViewMediaPro can handle jpegs and most other formats) and a window will open with tabs to see all the pixs or individually. I usually save the catalog into the same folder as the pixs - so I can just double-click it to open instead of dragging-and dropping the same folder into iViewMediaPro all the time.

Update : Was looking for the link to the iViewMediaPro and found out that it has been bought over by M$. Now that's a surprise to me - it was weird looking at the M$ logo on an app which I always thought of as a true-blue Mac app. Anyway, it is still available in Windoze and Mac flavours.

I remember using FFView some time ago - it's basically a comic e-book reader. It reads .cbr and .cbz files but should handle a folder of jpegs with no problems. (Quick tip for fellow comic e-book fans : rename your .cbr files to .rar and .cbz to .zip - and unrar or unzip it. You'll get a folder of the comic pages in jpeg format)

u bot at 4xxx only?

btw, since macbook only comes in integrated graphics, can u do intensive graphics rendering and 3D modelling? i really doubt so. so if i were to buy one, at least get a MBP with dedicated graphics card. and the new version has got Nvidia 8600 GT! WOOT!

and the 4MB L2 is not FSB la... ur FSB is 667 MHz. santa rosa ones are 800 MHz, and only available in MBP now.

~ i'll send u a PM in order to avoid flames here. wait ya...

paiseh . my bad my bad.
if you are willing to spend , spend on a macbook pro for 10K .
if you are willing lah ... for 5K u can buy a decent hp or compaq notebook which comes with seperate GC already .
if u really want ... go for macpro for 12K or more... top up 1K for a 21" LCD screen . 13K .
muahahhaha ...

mine 4599 only . i have never intend to use my laptop to do intensive graphics . btw , the 3D u will be doing wont be so so so advanced also lah ... c'mon studying architectural course , not ask u do graphical design .

the price paying for the extra santa rosa is not so worth . but if you mean core duo to core 2 duo . that is worth . get what i mean ? although it is yesterday technology , but it is not considered as outdated .

do you think they provide free shipping to malaysia or within USA only ? that is one critical thing .

and forget about exchange rate . thing's aren't so straight forward. if you are buying the latest macbook black , USD1499 , conversion to MYR is MYR5000 if you are refering to the exchange rate today . but all the apple malaysia is selling it at RM5999 . if your direct conversion of USD1999 to MYR6800(1:3.4) . it is correct for the exchange rate . but it doesnt really quite correct for retail pricing .
by the way , mid-valley Machines is selling it at RM7800 n 9600 .

5999 one is not santa rosa lah.

i was told by the reseller that the new MB is santa-rosa-ed, i am not quite sure on it ... but... if it isn't it make sense for me to buy my blackbook ... kekeke ... at least still non santa roasa , new also non santa... .mine is not santa-rosa-ed. if that is the 2.16Ghz model. i would say it wont make much difference if it is not running on full potential .
sorry i didnt check out the new pricing .
i am refering to my friend's macbook pro when he bought his macbook 2 months ago.

=============================================

got one problem with my iphoto ...
not problem ...
but the thing is , hwen i open iphoto from the front row ... remote control ..
how to enable it to display the photo albums ?

2nd thing is ,
the iphoto...should i drag the photos and put inside the photo album or use import to library ?
and how to change my iphoto music ...evefrytime also same music one ... boring lerh...
