i just feel that that ppl who quit are out to make a statement. with a game that has more than 8 million players, it's easy to make a cheesy video that says you're quitting and to get immediate response, be it bon voyage farewell or so long sucker.

and didn't u post this up some time before? or was it another video about someone else quitting?

My point is to play devil's advocate for the sake of a broader perspective. I'm not quitting anytime soon (Rantic wubs wubs me!), just focusing dps on exams now coz those can't be CC'ed. :'(

Hmm... I wonder what do runs through peoples' mind when they say such statements like these. Ok, so ppl wanna quit, that's fine.

Just wish that they stop making a big hoo-haa about it all and expect the rest of us who are still playing the game to sympathise with them. Yes, they had a breakdown but a lot of them do not accept the fact that their willpower is at an all-time low and that they prefer to blame their breakdown on fictictious game rather than admit that they are not prepared for the game itself.

There's no devil's advocate when it comes to ppl quitting WoW. Just tired of reading repeated rubbish.

If everyone reads the forums regularly like you, then yea they'd be tired of repeated rubbish. But it's like lots of people who play the game seldom/don't even read the forums... so, yea... whatever's on my mind I just write it down lo. As long as it's not offensive then nvm liao gua?

Big hoo-haa... yea maybe u're right. But I wasn't thinking along those lines at all. I watched that video a few months ago. Then last night my friend showed it to me again, I told him I've seen it before but I watched it again anyway coz I thought the music was beautiful. Then it was early morning, study till sien liao mar... so come make poll lo. Curious how many of my LotH guildies will reply. Coz they always complain complain complain~ Haha.

Bored... yea guess that was my intention.

don't have to read the forums to get bored with this repeated rubbish. it's already getting repeated in any WoW blog and starting to be in mainstream media.

anyway, i'll cut you some slack. good luck on your studies. me, i'm at home trying to recover from a viscious flu which has turn my nose in a running tap waterand a fever that just won't go away. this just happens to be one of my lucid but a bit unsympathetic moments. so sorry about that.

I agree with Myremi, if wanna quit then quit, don't have to roll out the red carpet and tell the whole world how WoW ruined your life. People just do not realise (or refuse to understand) that Blizzard does not point a gun to our head and make us play, ultimately, WE are the ones who make the choice of playing 24 hours a day or 1 hour a week or not at all. If you're so lame as to blame the game for your own weakness then you're not even worthy of being notice.

Blah, I personally quitted for 4 weeks prior to exam and only recently starting playing again. If I'm addicted, I would go cold turkey within the first 3 days and won't be here typing this.

After all, the dude didn't even show him deleting his own character. Emo Germans..

bah, we spend too much time arguing about how-to and why-must quit WoW. i'd rather spend the time playing WoW than thinking so hard about something that is a yes/no answer.

besides, if pondering about it is so depressing, why bother ponder about it further?

anyway, kitkats all around for breaktime.

~16th June return to game. Might not go back to Malaysia this year end coz I want to farm RL gold in Aussie during summer hols... if I do, it will be during mid november.
