How I Can Upgrade My Old 380 Optiplex, Somebody please guide me type of parts

I have Optiplex 380 small form factor. Currently it have 2gb ram ddr3 . 160GB HDD. and have intel core 2 duo 2.9GHz in it. Thinking of SSD but most website said that the motherboard cannot support it. Please help me. I am afraid if i buy ssd the motherboard cannot utilize it. someboy please advice me what I can buy for upgrading this reference for my desktop. Just change HDD to SSD, it can work without issue. Then add on 1pcs of 4GB RAM is enough.
