Hi guys,

Right now I'm driving an Axia and it seems that front left tyre already botak due to poor alignment. So I guess I should change tyre soon but right not enough budget. I was planning to change all 4 tyres in january next year but seems that this particular tyre wouldn't last until that time. So was wondering is it okay if i just switch one tyre only? Or is it recommended to change both front tyre?

When changing tires, minimum always change 1 pair unless the rest of your tires are still very thick like new (around 70-80% condition).

Change 1 pair. Put the new ones on the back.

You can just change 2 new first and fit it in the rear for the new tires. Old 1 move to the front.

To move the old rear tyre to the front, will the shop charge me for that? Usually how much?

Typically no charge. I usually request that. They only charged the cost of the tyres only.

Well, you also acknowledged it is alignment problem. Why don't you do an alignment as well during the tyre change. They don't charge for rotation la. Especially if you do alignment as well. Balancing usually comes free for the new tyres.
