 Can i cancel the voip service with home fibre?

As title. Recently "upgraded" to the 30 mbps @ 89 package. However i was charged an additional 15 myr in my bill for the voip which i never use. Anyone know whether i can cancel that service or not?

Fucking huge scam this maxshit. Wanna give cheaper broadband also doing it reluctantly and shady as fuck.

Apparently its the unlimited voip package which I never request for and they "helped" me sign up on my accord

I'll try giving them a call this monday to see. If not I'll complain to MCMC about this.

So the "89" package

After sales tax and some shady "value added service" that I have yet to discover what is it. cost a total of 110.28 every bill.

Thats why I read too, no free dect phone still charge me 10 extra. kanasai, i am calling their CS on monday.

i think better complaint direct to maxis branches or mcmc for faster updates if still no action from maxis by next week, your problem consider new. i know a bit leceh one, but i have read in here before regarding changing his old package to this latest 30mbps. complaint from call and live chat no action. then he go through maxis branch and mcmc. then the next days he got new plan.

i'll give their cs a call first, if not i'll try mcmc. cbf going to their branch to settle cause the "branches" that are really maxis owned nearest to me is midvalley dry.gif

i upgraded mine through their site without problems though. however, i have been paying 150 for 10mbps for 3 years now even though their new customers get cheaper price

bloody shit this maxis is.

its supposed to be optional, good if u frequently uses the phone to call (unlimited calls) and they will free a DECT phone

but for me

1. never told me this option to sign up or not, straight away sign up on their own accord
2. no free DECT phone to add on the salt on the would

I called and they agreed to cancel for me because the agent never ask whether i wanted this package or not

Also, the additional rm 5 is when you are billed by postage (wtf, can't even include bill paper + postage fees, how cheap u are maxshit)

so i cancelled both
