i just got brisbane here in penang after long waiting ...
got 50 brisbane in office =)
grab 25 and test... almost all cpu can get to 240 x 9.5 with original vcore and it won't boot anymore for more htt...
by increasing vcore... almost all can boot well at 3ghz... 316x 9.5 maybe...
the problem is the vcore needed to gain stable ... at 3ghz..
tried tried tried... found out they need at least 1.5 vcore to gain stable ... and she's hot at that core...
conclusion... 1st batch brisbane should be happy with their cpu because second batch cpu sure drop price and quality...
never have chance to get 1st batch cpu ... lucky kl ppl =)
anyway i'm still torture it....
i dun like to clock and prime fail because cpu is not 100% reliable to do calculation

i pumped the vcore to 1.45v.will run stress test later and play with the ram.thanks anyway
where did u get the Multiplier 9.9??max Brisby 3600+ is 9.5 not 10 
yeah..sometimes older bios can oc better than newer

your ldt multiplier is too high... drop to 3X maybe...  HT link should be 1000 or below... so motherboard chipset won't hurt...
i forgot it is made from where... but it is not made in malaysia...

Yup, its better to get a ram cooler than use heat spreaders. And allngap's are some of the best, even better than those branded ones.

A test by corsair showing the ineffectiveness of heat speaders. Gimme a break man..WTF only 3 MHz improvement in overclock??!!

The point is that is it won't be much cooler, in fact its often slightly hotter because it blocks the chips from direct airflow. The only ramsink I know that does reduce ram temp is thermalright's HR-07.

But yeah, it adds bling..    And it protects the chips from physical damage. 
Btw, how did you measure your ram temp?

after updating my bios to 605 from 402, i cant startup my pc edi. i dont think the mobo burned coz there is no burnt smell and no loud sound coming from the psu.

here is what happened and i hope u guys can help me out since we have quite a number of ppl here using same mobo (and cpu as me)

yesterday i just reformatted my pc coz after installing bitdefender, it gave a lot of problems to my system and other software on it. reformatting and install windows and all my programs had no problems. but after updating the bios from the biostar website, to the 605 bios using the biostar bios update utility, it said i needed to restart, after the restart, my pc wouldnt even go into bios or anything, there was no cpu information displaying, nothing at all, just a black screen like my pc is not linked to my monitor.

i rebooted again and there is no beep sound and no other diagnostic beeps like long beep as well. the cpu fan is turning as well as the casing fan, just that it will not start up.

do u have any idea how to fix my problem? the mobo has 2 buttons one which reset and one which on/off the pc, but both also dont fix the problem. i took out the battery from the mobo and put back in also same. no response, the pc not booting up.

i cant even enter bios to restore the previous bios. hope u can help me out. thanks.

Any NForce 550/570/590 or AMD 690. Most imp is the mobo manufacturer, something like Biostar Tforce/ ABIT/ Asus

sometime i just test the pi , then the computer auto turn off ( non auto restart ) any idea ?

IMO, its wayyy better than CM Extreme Power 450w, ive used the CM 450w before(the model with a voltage meter), it flunctuates alot when on full load where else my cheapo raptox works way better.

weird, in my case it drops in 3.3V AND 12V ...

actually, whats the safe level of dropping Voltages? i mean.. how far for it to drop before it can be considered "dangerous"? up to this day, ill think it would be fine as long as all rails are above the rated level. Always try to keep them at or above rated v.

the courier fee is 190RMB for 1st 500g , coming every 500g top up 45RMB
the price for tray version proc not sure yet, roughly around 500RMB
i dunno the weight of each tray version proc, so i cannot count the estimated courier fee yet.
i've already order 10 units , they said they will try their best to make it
