I tried Biostar's ori bios and rebel's modded bios... All just sux..
All i can say is Biostar is not meant for hardcore overclocker..

I just wondering... I saw robyncom selling 3600+ brisbane 65nm 2Ghz in garage sales... I call all lowyat net shops and they told me don't have 2Ghz... Only 1.9Ghz... I blur already...

Wakaka... Still browsing internet... Long time din online already...
Still dunno want buy or not... Scare later my Mobo or RAM limiting it to 2.8Ghz... I will throw keyboard... Well, T6100 is better at overclocking... No doubt about it coz i read a lot a lot of results... Many T550 limits at 270++ HTT... Which means 270 x 10 = 2.7Ghz.. This post has been edited by Amedion: Jul 1 2007, 07:05 PM |

Suddenly heard about burn-in... Wanna try to fry my sempron right now...
It's clocked at 2.2Ghz rite now... Unable to get more than that... Wat to do now? Put more Vcore and run prime for 24 hours? Then clock higher see if it's run again? |

Problem is the memory controller... When i use HTT 275... The ram already 8xx MHz which cap ayam ram cannot do...
If use DDR533 or DDR400 divider.. cannot go over 270htt also.. Tried changing ram slots and sata cable slot.. no use.. maybe the processor really max out at 2.2ghz stable.. |

QUOTE(afosz @ Jul 5 2007, 01:18 PM) I see, thanks. Currently I'm running at 2.8GHz, RAM at 803 4-4-4-12. When I push to 2.9GHz, I need to change the RAM timing to 5-5-5-15, or else can't boot. Although fail in Orthos, but SuperPI calculation is better with 2.8GHz at tighter timings than 2.9GHz. I am using the same RAM like yours but one piece 1gb only...And agreed with 8tvt, as long it is great for my usage, I'm satisfied already This DDR667 value ram can do 890+ MHz only... Oh yeah... Can anyone give me some good reason to buy 3600 brisbane or 3800 windsor... If let say i able to clock brisbane to 2.7ghz... It's the same speed with windsor 2.6ghz or lower, rite? Overclocking higher but cannot obtain more performance is something that i dun want.. I want stable, 12hours per day usage, lifespan maintained, etc... Try google about ur motherboard...
From what I've read over other forum, some motherboard cannot go over 250HTT.. Swap ur SATA to other slot... Swap RAM position.. Then try again.. |

USe x11 multiplier also can't.. When get into desktop.. Check on CPU-z.. it become x10 but in bios it's still x11.. How to get 3.0Ghz like that? Zzzzz... Is changing mobo is the only solution? |

QUOTE(sempronic @ Oct 15 2007, 12:50 PM) why not update ur bios first??? Already latest BIOS dude ...and try to set to the lowest divider as u can as u want to test ur proc maximum capabilities.... http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/3369/myocresultgi6.jpg MY RAM can run at 888Mhz MAX... I need CPU/7 to be able to get 3.1Ghz and 884MHz ... BUT can't get over 265HTT at all.. Only able to get over when using CPU/8 - 690mhz only .. so low.. QUOTE(coolkwc @ Oct 15 2007, 02:11 PM) I own a piece of Abit AN52S mainboard, CPu is AMD X2 4000+ AM2, 2X1GB Kingston 667Mhz DDR2, 8600GT GC...etc. Some board have problem with HTT .. My board can only achieve 270HTT.. The HTT can't go above 225Mhz no matter how i lower the multiplier to 4 or below, add HTT, CPU, RAM, sourthbridge voltage...i also loosen the default timing of RAM 5-5-5-17-1T to 5-6-6-20-2T, useless.... Here i throw my question...Is it the OC capability is limited by chipset or just the poor mainboard overclockability? because i know X2 4000+ can jump to 2.8-3Ghz without problem...have anybody using this board to OC? if yes, then how much u can go? pls state the setting in ur BIOS too...thanks Btw, have you tried using single RAM & Other slots? Your processor is Brisbane? This post has been edited by Amedion: Oct 15 2007, 02:21 PM |
