QUOTE(AoiNatsume @ Sep 24 2007, 01:08 AM) just check your Voltage and make sure everything all voltage reading is good, then it should be alright. If its your PSU, the voltage should flunctuate alot and most of the time below the specified voltage. due to limited vcore.. u should change ur mobo, consider also if u have good cooling n proc didnt hit the wallSo sad, my 4000+ brisby already hit its limit. Cant go any higher with my current board, max OC 3.3Ghz @ 1.55vcore, bootable with lots of distortion. 3.2Ghz 1M superPI-able, and 12hours orthos stable at 3.0Ghz @ 501Mhz 4-4-4-7-11-2T @2.3vdimm. Im sure that my ram isnt holding me back though, nothing else i could do =( 1.55vcore is the highest my board can go. Any suggestion for further overclocking? |

QUOTE(darkcraw @ Oct 1 2007, 10:54 AM) lets say im oredy hav 2gb ram. and if i take the money on graphic card and spend more on ram, i think it'll b more cheaper rite? since if 2x 1gb ram now oni 200+ and a 8500gt cost around 300+ put it like this.. tats y i wanna knw the quality of 690G graphic. guyz, plz correct me if im wrong k. gaming: 1gb is enough gaming: quality is important normal usage: 2gb wasting normal usage: gc wasting i think u are more to gaming rite... chase gc first.. and i think for discuss this matter not in here rite except u r ocing it... Added on October 1, 2007, 5:07 pm QUOTE(skullz) @ Oct 1 2007, 12:57 AM) hi.. try to find ram setting.. dont hv any idea why it lock.. try to find sumwhere maybe can unlock it.. if u r running dual channnel with that value.. waa.. crying la ram tuei'm using a 4000+ brisbane 65w chip paired with biostar's tf-7050.. how do i set the FSB:DRAM thing? what shd be the ideal setting? currently running 240mhz bus on stock voltage and stock cooling. FSB:DRAM showing CPU/11 = 229MHz.. what does this mean?? what shd the ideal number be like? all i did was adjust the bus frequency and set the HT to 4x. Ram was locked to 400mhz. is there anything else that i should set to get the optimal overclocking at this speed? ![]() This post has been edited by xixo_12: Oct 1 2007, 05:07 PM |
