Stupid question... I want to race in this league but how do I unlock the rF3 quickly? I have only about 1000 "experience points" in the Open Wheel thing and I don't have a trainer car which costs 18000 and I imagine I could get more points quickly doing the championships.... I've tried doing a few races in a FIS car which costs nothing but I can only get a few hundred points a race in those and can't be stuffed racing them. When I try doing races with the F1 car I get put against rF3s so I get only about 80 points for a win... argh. any ideas?

lol thanks Acid_RuleZz, that works! Thanks for the welcomes.

Redline I'm quite sure I did have a Lowyat username ages ago (like 2 years) but not sure of the username or password or email so had to sign up for a new one to join the racing - so not completely new but also not here with a new username to cause trouble or anything. wink.gif

I've had rFactor for a while but haven't been on it much, mainly been playing LFS - so that's why I had the confusion over getting the cars unlocked! smile.gif

man rFactor force feedback settings are really getting on my nerves! I've tried lots of settings I've found online and followed instructions but still can't get the force feedback to feel right. The main problem is when correcting a slide, or counter-steering.. there's far too much resistance first when correcting the slide and then when returning back to normal from a slide... argh! Switched off force feedback altogether and laptimes are a lot better!

The "bad" force feedback settings don't matter in the megane for example but it makes driving the single seaters really difficult - going a lap without spinning isn't easy.

oh btw what setups are you guys using? I couldn't find any rF3 trois setups online.

oops looks like my "Thanks!" message went to my post as an edit accidentally rather than as a pm to TheXxBestxX for sending me the IP wink.gif

A bit annoying that I wasn't able to join in earlier, I remembered a bit late that the race was on so hadn't done any practice today and only got in a handful of laps the other day when trying to sort out the steering.

Hope to challenge a bit more in future events, get the steering and setups sorted and it should go good smile.gif.

Congrats to PC on the win!
