U can do some mirror adjustments and everything will be fine...

both cockpit mirrors can be adjusted by adjusting the seat position, and the 3 virtual mirrors can be adjusted aswell....by pressing alt and seat position buttons.

U can judge the position of the car next to you if you cant glance to the side by listening to the engine sound....

If two or more cars are side by side then we have to really trust each other by judging wuts gonna happen. Understanding who owns the approaching corner also important...

And no chatting please during the race no matter what happens...even if youre exiting the race. Imagine ure on ur hotlap and the msg pops up...distracting.

I cant stress out more about the importance of reading the rules and regulations time after time, just to remind ourselves.

We can easily forget what to do and whats not while having fun racing online. But with practice and take heed of advice from fellow racers, we all can have fun plus be happy.

Just a quick reminder next time around....

Absolutely no chatting, doesnt mean chatting per se but one liners like 'gtg' or 'wow'...nothing....no msging so to speak.

The main reason is that it is soo distracting.

There are penalties for each any offences. Our race marshalls are the ones to refer to. But we as racers also need to look at it and understand. The ones you cant do has some reasons for it. Failing to understand the reason behind it will results to repeated offences. Things are easier if u understand them.


Yup Raiko...i dont usually glance left or right...but only sometimes at some straights.

If you are doubtful about wether its safe or not, please hesitate before making that manouvre.

For example in last nites race;

During the start, Shah swerve to the right while Loon is right beside him. Its ok to intimidate ur opponent but not to the point of touching them. You had the racing line anyway and the best entry to the first corner. And please note the opponents location relative to you. Although you cant see exactly where they are, i think u know where they were before and which side of you theyve gone to.

And on lap 3, Shah lost ctrl of the car and parked the car and the middle of the road.

Probably youre having some kind of a problem. Fine.

But before you move your car, please check the track traffic. You collected Loon on ur way out. You said it urself prior before the race to consider other ppl. Please do that LOL.

What Sabelt is saying can only emphasise our seriousness in implementing real race ethiques. Yes its a game but even games have rules.

Yup we were discussing abt that also Red. Especially for drivers briefing prior to the start of the race. Abt its usage during race, can be done but we all have to be really2 really3 disciplined. Imagine the exchange of words when bad things happens and everybody got to listen to it LOL.

It is highly advisable to close any online application while racing. Its a test race yes but rules and regulation is the same and test race is as serious as any season race...

And again pls read the rules and regulations....there are many do's and dont's there...
huge effort has been put to put that together...

No one is gonna yell at u shah...

Ive been looking for alternatives for Zolder myself coz rfactorcentral rating on that version is not so good...and i agree with that. bad fps and texture...but a highly raceable track though, me and Dzariq tested it out yesterday. Nice rhytm.

But yes...immersion is a must. I'll go test it now.

Since ive never been to zolder and only driven the virtual version yesterday, i cant be sure if its real or not.
