Evo....no prob mate....everyone got their chores also....

I think the same question has been ask before during our GTR2 league. The reason why the driving was locked so that everyone has the same level of playing field.

Because if you are using other than cockpit view, you have the advantages of seeing the apex (or sometimes the exits) of a corner earlier. We are comunity of sim racer, so i think to keep true to the spirits of simulating real life race event , the cockpit view is the obvious choice.

Using gamepad ke?
If using wheel, cockpit view the best choice.

I'm not bragging, I love SIM so much...I even bought MOMO and use cockpit view while
my other colleagues in F1 Challenge used keyboards and tv camera view.
Of course they're faster but the satisfaction and feeling as an F1 driver is there...maybe not much but it was cool

Dzariq....i use too use nose view cos i had a crappy pc...and gives me better fps and i really2 use to hate cockpit view so much coz i had a crappy gc give me crappy resolution and crappy fps. Cockpit view was not really frenly to me at all...but i forced myself coz i know if u want to drive a simulation, uve got to do it as close to real life as possible....and thats by doing it in the cockpit.

It took me some practice....but now im on it for good. When ure used to it, u can 'feel' the car better and its much2 easier to relate ur position and ur car as u steer better....especially if u take into account seriously seating position...

IMHO, its a bit weird holding ur wheels looking down into another wheels and helmet. Just an opinion...man..no offense.

for open wheel series definitely cockpit view for me, other view just too unreal. But for tintop cars i've been using bumper view last V8 season, and halfway in GTR2 season too (fps and bug issues).
i normally off the in-game wheel too, open wheel or tintop.

everybody loves the sense of immersion in simracing, but to me we still need that 'extra' visual cues i.e. added view of the track, virtual mirror, indicators etc. to compensate the lack of feedback as oppose to real racing. Sim racing games should only allows cockpit view.

Evo: no news on my monitor yet - rma. after i got my lcd monitor last year i sedekah my CRT monitor to a friend. i can still race though, can use my 2nd PC 17" CRT monitor.
