hi guys - sori did not participate in last race, ive not manage to dedicate my time to practice n racing - too much workload in the office these days.

i think i better request to be relief from marshall duties this season, i'll try to join coming races though.

btw on the change of pit strategy, it can be difficult when u r driving n trying to tweak the strategy, i normally loses much time when i started doing this - especially changing refuel load.
iinm back in f1c engine, when u change something n u pitted with the pit strategy on display, the crew will not do anything until u press something like enter key. but i think this is fixed in rfactor.

I can do the review of the race via replay. I have the time on weekends.

Mara Huh, at the moment I can only get into late 29s. He is damn fast racer. Makes my day a lot more hectic during tuning session.

I am only confident if I can get a consistent 28s next week.

Wah....Raikonen thats a big kuku.... sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Kimi, fuel usually being set in the garage. Really depends on the track, if the pit lane is long, then i adjust the setting (tyre change or maybe wings) there....if not any straights will do.

Eleh pitt...ko dah masuk 1.28 kan? katakan la... sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

PCcrazy is the one who havent shown his KUKU yet....coz hes been so unlucky in these few races....and if he says

'Im running out of talent'......then is probably where hes the most dangerous....remember...hes a champ. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Lee Pak, like they say, if you wanna win first uve got to finish....and finishing is a victory man. nod.gif

want to ask one question.
Like yesterday GP, Heidfeld move inner line to overtake Ralf, but end with accident and cause Ralf DNF.
My question, is that move legal in MSR?

To me that was racing incident, Heidfeld was half a car so Ralf should provide ample room. But to me it's racing incident no matter how many times I look at it.

Ralf had the rights to turn and he left enuff room for Nick. But nick was over the curb that has less grip so he couldnt make the turn and collected Ralf.

Even if Nick made it through, Ralf wouldve easily nick him again in the straight coz his line out of the bend is not the ideal line.

Nick's move was legal but losing it like that is just a race incident. Hence the stewards non-investigative move.

Yep i think its ok in MSR but if i were nick i wouldve understand the basic race rules....if ure at less than half of ur opponents car, then the line is affectively ur opponents...and if ure side by side u can fight for it.

Ralf knew that and Nick gambled but failed. Thats y Nick give a apologetic gestures a lap later.

Ya.. it race incident.
But from replay, Ralf seem like didn't realise heidfeld is beside him, he keep right turn and force heidfeld toward the curb.

Ralf knew nick is there halfway after the chicane exit...
and he knew nick trying a move but never expect nick is gonna stick with it.
He thot nick shouldve known better.

Ralf kept turning right coz thats the only thing he can do IMHO. With his F1 reputation in an all time low, you dont want to be too courteous, besides the corner was his.

I don't think he knew, he made a mistake and fearing of losing position closes the door quickly on Heidfeld. I don't think Heidfeld understeered into him.

IMO the reason he apologized was because he is still running the race while Ralf isn't. But bear in mind that I didn't say it was Ralf or Heidfeld fault.

The point is, to do that in MSR is allowable but prepare for the consequences because it will be a racing incident if both of you collided.

Many wouldn't agree with me on this one, but you can't avoid accident like that. It will happen whether you like it or not. This category of incident IMO sits rightfully in grey areas and still is disputable. But MSR league is governed by admins who set rules and FOI different league has different rules. But as far as I know, this rule was never discussed before in MSR. As long as things are fine, why bother fixing it?

In racing, you must take whatever opportunity in front you.
Ralf did mistake and slow at that time, so heidfeld have can overtake him, but never thought ralf keep turn to right. Ralf should be sensitive to the environment too.

in MSR there are two ways looking at it :

i. we have to find out if Ralf saw nick. Some of the mods we play dont have both side mirrors.

ii. Usually when you hit another car when passing and the car goes off track, you have to allow the car you hit to regain his position back.

Thats what we usually do.
