Kindly look at the Denso official website below, look at the Hyundai i30 which is same engine as Forte and the Campion section to find out which is the correct crossreference for the RER8YC/RER8MC.

it is clearly stated IXUH22, not IXU22I

IXU22i may look same as RER8YC/RER8MC, but that are not work the same way.

The Forte 1,6 uses a special IXU- H size and is very rare and not easily available.
IXU-22 is the new Myvi size. Dont use this on the Forte as it is the wrong heat range and different length.

Quote from Desmond of KLauto. And I've to agree no amendment from Denso on correct model for Forte 1.6
Only owner who did survey and active in carclub know this issue. cheers

IXU22 is difference with IXUH22, one short, one is longer.
but both same heat range.

of course Forte can't use that Myvi plug.

yes, both suitable for myvi, just difference in brand and thickness of iridium tips.

K&N is well-knowing brand for filtering, imported from USA.
it can last as long as the lifespend of the car itself with cleanning in between.
improve performance.
