QUOTE(RM1 @ Oct 1 2012, 04:34 PM) I am interested in Denso IK20 but am concern if these are 100% Japan made plugs. Can you confirm that they are "Package A" per this site http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2316714/all actually the package B are the original one but with quite old packing. Please PM me the price + postage to Penang and also the confirmation. I already kena twice buying fake plugs (Denso and NGK Iridium) from spare parts shop so hopefully I get it right this time. Thanks. the package A is from china. i will avoid goods from china. |

the NGK word center marking is only applicable on the normal plug.
those iridium, laser iridium grade are not printed on center. The original onr also have diff darkness of the tips colour depend on production. what is plug code for the old and new ngk iridium you are having now? and use for what car? |

QUOTE(RM1 @ Oct 6 2012, 06:47 PM) BKR6EIX for both old and new ones. For sure the new one is fake because it runs hotter and pings the engine. Upon removing the plugs when the engine has cooled down, the fake plug is white clean, no brownish residue due to too hot and gets burn off. But the old plug shows brownish residue. It Is normal for a spark plug appear white when new, unless it been use couple of thousand km. do you have the picture, I would like to see the fake one. |
