Dear all, my daughter (about 1 month old now) recently refuse to sleep at night. Sometimes she is crying no matter whether you put her down on her bed or even when you hug her in your arm.
She gave me signal that she is hungry (keep on opening her mouth and show me her tongue), for example, I already gave her 2.5oz formula milk, she finished all the milk, but she refused to sleep. 30 minutes later, she will start crying and show me the hungry signal again, then I will give her another 1oz in case she is really hungry. But.....another 30 minutes, she show the signal again!!!
I don't think a newborn baby can get hungry that fast, sometimes if I give her too much, she will vomit some milk out even though we have already done the "Burping" exercise.
I really out of idea now, is there anyone here can provide me some advice?

in our case, after my wife breastfed our baby, she held her in arms until baby falls into deep sleep, then only put on bed.She gave me signal that she is hungry (keep on opening her mouth and show me her tongue), for example, I already gave her 2.5oz formula milk, she finished all the milk, but she refused to sleep. 30 minutes later, she will start crying and show me the hungry signal again, then I will give her another 1oz in case she is really hungry. usually is the safety and warmth feeling that the baby is missing. try it.
oh on side notes, dont bother about the breast feeding talks or taboo that they force you to use only breastmilk, as long as your wife is giving breastfeed, a bit of formula is okay to supplement the hunger.
