I made a new blog again. Previously i did about my personal life daily routine but after going through blinky's blog, it somehow triggered something in my to start a whole new blog again. It will be probably be bout magazines articles and my personal opinion, or some stuffs that i find interesting. So far I only posted one. Since im working now I probably will go through or even surfed some interested stuffs. Then, I'll post it up just to keep me entertained. Check it out and give comments if you want, so that i could improve myself better.

Thank you for making my blog sound useful smile.gif

Anyway, I suggest you to write the way you're truly comfortable with. If you think you can write better about your daily life, do it. If you think you can write better on general issues, do it. smile.gif

Personally for me, I don't like writing about what I do everyday because I find that quite boring and tedious for the readers, let alone the writer.

So all the best in your new blog and write on! smile.gif

I used to write bout my daily life but somehow some people close to me don't like it and ended up creating a barrier between close people around me. I don't like that...

no, you're wrong.

as a writer you MUST learn to write in wisdom. you must learn how to use words appropriately. smile.gif

if what you're posting is bound to offend anyone, then as a writer you should try to minimize the damage while getting the message through.

make sense...i guess i just have to learn that...it is not easy, right? and what if other people sort of like get the wrong message? As in like I'm talking bout one thing and somehow the other people thought I was talking bout another thing and got offended? This does happen also right?

since blog is no longer a diary where its for your own eyes only, you have to take into consideration the subject you are writing. Mayb you wish to blabber about the daily happenings between you and your loved ones... but since the "other party" is involved, do take into consideration their feeling too. Some have a gung-ho tendency in expressing themselves, but they must respect other's people's right to be subtle and secretive.

some times it happens. some times it's just due to words.

for example, on this forum you see people like to use phrase like X is worse than Y.

means you're saying Y is bad, X is worse.

they actually mean X is not as good as Y. smile.gif which is similar, just saying Y is good and X is not THAT good.

or they could actually put it that Y is great and X is not far behind Y. this way, it says both are equally good.

or they could actually say X is far from being Y, then it says Y is good and X is bad.

shocking.gif my sense of imagination is not that high...took me some time to actually picture that out...

blogs started out to be something about a person writing their personal stuffs and things about their life. It's something like a personal diary. So, you can pretty much write anything in your blog you see fit. That is the kind of personal freedom that blogs are giving to people. That's why people started writing interesting things without restrictions. Then it got commercialized and it is becoming money making thingie for some people.

But I still think you have the freedom to write whatever you want. If you do not care about your friends leaving you because you talk about the REAL things in your life that involves them then so be it. But if you think your friend is more important that for you to view your personal opinion, then restrict your stories so that it doesn't offend them.

Simple as that.

FYI, there are still a lot of blogs where people write whatever they want. If you are afraid that you friends get offended, do what most of them does which is to put in alias for your friend's name. Then nobody would know who is having affair with who. Hehe...just enjoy whatever that you do.

Well, every blogger starts somewhere.

I started from personal to web design and development. smile.gif

You're only one quarter in your journey to find what you really like writing about. As far as I can understand, you like sharing your views of the articles and opinions. From my point of view, you're an opinionated blogger.

Bloggers in this category normally like to:
1. Write political blogs.
2. Write reviews.
3. Write social topics.

Well, you get the idea. smile.gif

Anyway, good luck in discovering your passionate subject.

IMO you're entitled to your opinion.

you just have to be aware of the potential damage from your post, then decide whether you can get the message through with minimal or no damage. biggrin.gif
