I’m not sure how to explain but Richard buff is good on first and third skill in order to get himself good. But yeah it depend on what game style you looking for.
I’m on infantry build since the beginning so I just focus 1 by 1 legendary commander to upgrade it. So without good skill I won’t send them out to battlefield unless last resort.
Answer your question would say 5511 is best among 3 but can’t survive long due to third skill buff is only 1.

I had maxed Richard. The difference will be significant for a max skill compare to non max. The expertise is a good advantage. I had my Richard, Charles maxed. Now 3 skills away from maxing Alex.

I'm playing mixed type. There was a time on last year that I've gave up maxing commander due to busy lifestyle. Thus, I've put my favourite 5511 commanders on field.

You mean Alex is the best 5511 among those I've stated? If Alex, the 3rd skill you mean is March speed? Not 4th skill more defense?

If you have 5511 Richard and 5511 Alex, you still will go for Richard maxed first?

No my meaning is Richard first and third skill ...he needs the infantry buff instead counter

I think I will go for Richard, simply because of his shield / heal skill is better. He is a good tanker, in Kvk I use him as main and Alex as secondary.

Current setup I played got few
1. Alex + Richard for rally
2. Alex + martel (tank)
3. Richard + sun / ysg
I’m still working on ysg so not full focus yet

Not yet, Alex is 3 skills to max and will focus on Edward next.

You're right about lesser competitor but he really make good use of the commanders and doesn't chicken out from war. Most of his universal speed up are used in war which why he still haven't unlock the big 3 research.

He's one of my long time friend in the game. Kinda sad to see him go. Hope he got a good price for that account as he has over 8 maxed legendary commanders.
