I opened 777 boxes which gives me 1.3K pumpkin. Then I already have 200 pumpkins from rallying witches. So, its like 1500 pumpkin to reach lv 24 for me. 

It depends on your luck. So, its better to open earlier in case the boxes didn't give much or the critical rate is bad.

On another note, there are rumors floating around that More Than Gem is coming tomorrow. I'll use my 7K gem tomorrow in case it really come. Maybe unlock VIP13 as well. 12K points away from there.

I felt the same way too. But luckily this kind of event come every few months. Maybe the next one is during X'mas.

Of course you had used gem into something beneficial i.e. master blueprint, VIP, books. Thus, it never wasted even though wheel comes later. By the way, you can use 26 legendary sculptures in a good way.

Wheel sometimes give you bad results i.e. resources. Unless you have yet to summon Khan, then try to get some gems.

Anyway, you can reload gems for Wheel if you really want.

Sorry on your lost there. Like my R4 always say, never leave your city in PvP zone if you're going offline. A shield is not safe enough in case something came up in real life or you just forgot to shield again. I once stumbled upon an enemy farm with over 1 billlion resource in zone 5 and only 300K low tier troops. Cleared everything out in less than 5 minutes.

I spinned the new Takeda wheel. Only got 10 head (include box) from 25 spins. 

Why go for Charlemagne again? His use is quite limited and unless you're always the one rallying cities, he wouldn't be of much use to low spender or F2P players.
And rumor says, Guan Yu is the 3rd season KvK reward. 

My alliance quite ok and we have lots of golden chest during event like the current Thanksgiving or a few when there's the Call of Osiris bundle.
Best thing is, we run plenty of fort rallies all day long to fill up the alliance gift.
Bad news is our kingdom is in the Top 32.
