Must be something seriously not right... loose battery terminal, connection problem, etc as suggested.

Good luck getting it iron out.

Worst case - bring it back to Yamaha Sungai Buloh factory.

Very rare Yamaha bike break down, especially brand new from bike shop.

Pheeew thumbup.gif A big relief. So everything work as it should now? hmm.gif

That the burden of ever reliance of electronics in our life. One small thing 'fail', the rest wont work. Not like yesteryear tech, plain old mechanical. No need high tech gadgetry if anything goes wrong. sweat.gif

I remember helping my friend with his 2016 PCX. Suddenly the engine check light blinks (2 long 9 short blinks). The engine cannot be started. Luckily I have the service manual to refer to. The solution as simple as unplugging IACV sensor, clean the connector with connector cleaner, plug it back, re-calibrate it, zoom zoom of he goes. sweat.gif Just one small RM20 sensor that doesn't function as it should... the rest not functioning. FYI, PCX engine electronic management as complicated as typical modern car engine. 8 sensors that keep monitoring the engine... whistling.gif

I think similarly with NVX... comes with key less system summore.

Anyway, happy biking. thumbup.gif

Not up to BMW complexity, but it's complex system, with heaps of sensors.

IACV, TPS, coolant temperature, intake air temperature, MAP sensor, oxygen sensor, ECT Sensor, VS Sensor, CKP Sensor, Fuel level sensor, just to name it... whistling.gif

Then there's a complete circuit for LEDs as well. 12V goes to dedicated LED control unit. If this box gone, zero lighting. rclxub.gif

Good luck to under the tree mechanic to diagnose and repair any error. Without proper workshop manual, it will be difficult to rectify any error.

The wiring diagram sweat.gif Attached File  Honda_PCX_2014_more_Electrical_wiring.pdf ( 67.41k ) Number of downloads: 45

Need this diagnostic cable to connect to any OBDII scanner & software to read live information from ECU.

I guess we can't run away when the venturing into Fuel Injection and emission regulated era.....

Just that hope the electronic quality last and better QC for those CKD bikes

Yah... missed the simplicity of CDI and carburetor based engine. Dead easy to fix / rectify. whistling.gif Most old bike can even run if the 12v battery is not there... thumbup.gif

Yah. Once it's fuel injected... complex electronic and control will be there too. sweat.gif One simple / silly error can ruin the bike experience. doh.gif
