Just read that dividend for ASB is 6.50% with 0.5% bonus. Last year it fares better. I'm surprised that ASB fell under 7% (excluding bonus %) considering that the other ASX was pretty much in the predicted range. I believe 2016 was the only year that ASB also fell under 7%. Other years have been pretty much above 7%. Hoping ASx will fare better in the Year of the Pig.

For ASM3, are the bumis subjected to "fighting for a piece of the pie" with the non bumis or is there a certain % allocation for bumis?

I have some questions on the Trust Declaration offered by ASNB.
1) Can I put different nominees for the different ASx accounts that I am holding?
2) If anything were to happen, will my beneficiaries get my savings in the form of Unit or Cash? Can they request for Cash option?
3) In relation to above question, can I put in nominees who do not have ASx account for the trust declaration? I have one ASx account that I am no longer using which I would like to pass to a sibling who doesn't own any ASx account, (i.e. my account, his savings). He has been facing difficulties opening an account and cannot afford to keep taking time off work to go to banks/asnb so I thought I just let him use my account for now.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jan 22 2019, 10:08 AM) 2. If beneficiaries have account, then its ASx units.. Even don't have account.. No worried... They die die would try open account for your beneficiaries 👍👍 and yes. Can ask for cash also.. But not hard cash okay. Cheque would be issued.. 3. Nope. Simply cannot passed your account to another person (officially). But illegal (under table) way can. Direct dealing faced to faced with the person.. Gentlemen agreement 🙏😑 Thanks Nexona for your reply. Can I just confirm again that if my nominees do not have ASx account and not interested to open one even if ASNB offered to do so, they can opt to receive payment in cheque form? Hey, not sure if I have posted this question before. I have ASM3 account but with zero balance as I want to focus on maximising my other 2 ASM accounts.
I would like for my spouse to use my ASM3 account rather have it lying idle. His work schedule is pretty hectic so he doesnt want to go thru the hassle of trying his luck to open up an account. For the Trust Declaration, can I put him as my Nominee? Or must he have a ASx account in his own name then only I can put him as Nominee?

QUOTE(beLIEve @ Jun 11 2019, 01:52 PM) the nominee/nomination is to inherit your fortune when you die, not to manage/use your account tell your spouse, if he doesnt go open an account, he sleeps in the hall indefinitely. open an account is no hassle. topping up ASM 1 2 3 is the hassle. Not suitable for people with hectic schedule Yes, I know the function of naming a Nominee, tq. What I want to know is whether the investment $ will be given to him instantly upon my death or does will it be a complicated process since he is not an ASx account holder.
