visited asnb today and was told transfer of unit to another person is not allowed? can only sell the unit? anyone can shed some light?

i went to the asnb hq at jalan tun razak lol... and i was shocked with the staff statement... ended up doing nothing... maybe should go to other branch other day haiz
and no didnt mention about rm15 fees to them... every staff i enquired was confused by my pindah unit request also

if it was me i for sure lodge a formal complaint. what time you reach hq branch and even better if u know which counter or staff that give you such stupid answer

asm is quite easy to get (a few k in an hour is not an issue) but what surprises me was asw. i tot asw not longer available (until just now).

hi, wonder difference in difficulty to get units between top-up investment and open new account? I registered MyASNB portal and want to start buying FP fund, tried very hard on all 3 non-bumi funds and finally managed to get 200 units ASM. Then my friend shared that she never has difficulties to buy ASM2 and 3, and surprise when I showed her how difficult everyone in lowyat forum shared (constantly catcha).  Then in front of me she showed that she can buy ASM2 and 3 with ease, start with rm100, 200,1000 and even RM30k, all without problem. We tried it about 5+pm just now. I was so surprised that I still cant buy even though i did same time with her, I just get the insufficient unit message forever. Was it anything in the account setting or what I need to do to make a difference? Thanks for the advice.

She is chinese. Demo ASM1 also but failed, the typical insufficient unit message. ASM 2 and 3 never have problem according to her.

In fact I tried to buy under my baby account (got the adam incentive) and apparently I can get 1k top up easily, under my individual I cant get new investment of RM100 same time. Is it bcoz I dun have account yet (initial investment) or a age thing?

Yes can use EPF. I thought of trying but fine print says subjected to unit availability. since the dividend is comparable, not going to try.

wahhh seems like use EPF 1money to buy already cannot sell until meet requirements. More difficult to redeposit money into EPF than rejoining your WhatsUp group. I thought sell already the 1money goes back into EPF.
