For me, I have been trying 100, 200, 500, 1000, 5000, big amount, small amount, day, night(joke la), morning, afternoon, Monday to Sunday (/Sat), still can't get any in asm1.

Unless I am the unluckiest one, else I can't imagine anyone who could catch any fish in asm1 unless it's the well documented occasionally flash sales.

I might be seriously wrong though.

People just like to challenge whatever that is "rare" and hard to get right? But are never satisfied with what they already have. Its a great thing to always wanting to move toward what you wanted, but should know your clue as to when to halt.

I'm sorta craving for ASM1 too but I read sifus advise here to go for whatever available first. Maybe save up a few k's to attack when the time is right.
