I never use this infinite plan . But i'm tired with streamyx 8mpbs . I consider want to change to this digi infinite or not . I read the Q&A saying that this infinite can connect 5 devices at one time . What if I plug a router to it? Can I connect more devices? Or this is only real 5 device at 1 times?

I doubt 5 is an actual hard limit of the plan.
Many has been saying they can connect a lot more device, it just the amount is limited by your router's capability.

Yep, using this plan with router is the best option, a pretty good landline alternative if not having landline access or for whatever reason don't want to sign up for fiber.

But still, you probably want to first make sure your area have good Digi LTE signal and speed.
You can just flip few pages back and see people complaint terrible speed... likely due to heavy congestion.

But as far as I concern, which I live in a forest & there is virtually no congestion, I had no issue reaching constant 30~40mbps with a cheapo USB stick / mifi, a good $$$$ phone tested can easily double that.
Many are gunning for those powerful expensive router to get better signal/speed of course.
I just use a cheapo D-Link LTE mifi, casual online gaming is fine with it.

Thank you for your reply. In my area I dont have unifi or unifi air . So I give up for fibre. I using Digi prepaid and I did speedtest yesterday night . I got about 20mbps inside my house. I did again speedtest while I stand beside the window and I got 60mbps for download speed. I dont know how many speed I will get if I sign for the inifinite 150.

As you say , the number of device to connect is depend on the router I use. Is it possible Digi is is giving to a infinite account only can connect 5 devices? I find some reply in this forum ,many have say this infinite is only 1000GB data , after 1000GB the speed will slow down to 64kbs? Someone say is 300GB , which is more accurate? 1000GB or 300GB ?

Nope. The max device really depends on your router.
1000GB = 1TB and speed will be lowered down to 10Mbps until next billing cycle which is very bearable but you can always get CS to reset the quota. No question will be asked and you will get back the full speed.
*
Example I buy a router that can support 16 devices , so total I can connect 16 device using this plan?

if I finish 1TB , then i can talk to CS reset the quota and get the normal speed?

Do you recommend me to get this? RM159 per month . I using streamyx 8 mbps now and paying RM79. Do you guys recommend me to sign it? Any contract?

Is this block p2p? I cant download torrent? Any method to unblock it? Sometimes I will download game using BT

Digi (and other telcos) don't care how many devices you're connected to.
*
Because i'm the first time sign this kind of broadband for house use . The frequent ask question there stated only 5 device can connect at the same time . In my house ,me and my wife already 5 devices , 3 phone 1 ipad 1 PC. I also live with my parents and my brother . It about 10 devices in my house. If only 5 to connect then i cant use this plan haha. But you guys sayying that can connect many device depends on the router i use . I think it should be ok . Is this the speed good?

Depends on your location.  Some users even report different performance in different parts of their place.

I using Digi prepaid now . Yesterday midnight I got 1GB free data , so I did a few times speedtest using iphone 7 plus . In living room , I got about 15-20mbps download and upload 5mbps. I stand beside the window I did speedtest and I got 60mbps download and 28mbps upload . But if I get the infinite 150 plan will get this speed or not .

1) Yes. Mine supports 64 devices but I never connect more than 6 devices. laugh.gif

2) Yes.

3) Well, it depends how you see it. At least your speed is faster but you need to pay more. Cannot decide for you. No contract but there's RM 300 upfront which you will need to pay upon registration. It will be offset in your first two bills.

4) Infinite plans throttled P2P speed, other Digi plans don't. Use VPN I supposed or use torrent to direct download conversion? I have stopped downloading stuff for years so not an issue for me.
*
You can support 64 but never try. I hope I can get answer from you if you can help me haha because I have many device in my house . So I hope it can connect more than 5. I hope you can help me to get a test . Try to find some more of device to use at the same time tongue.gif tongue.gif

Shouldn't be any difference between plans.  Only those plans Digi explicitly said are capped will be capped.

So I use infinite plan I will get this kind of speed also?

You will need VPN for that. Just grab the free one like VPN Gate, or subscribe to other more reliable services you prefer.
But I'd go for direct download if there is a choice.

The cost of this plan is obviously higher, but is there really any other choices? Not much.
There is another no quota plan - Unifi Air from TM. But looking at the coverage map already can tell it will be troublesome... Also see people report terrible performance.
I dunno much about TM's wireless offering, but I do aware they bought P1... and P1 was... absolutely garbage.

I wish it is cheaper, I am seriously short of money. But I am fxxking tired of the old days where I had to worry about quota every single day...  bangwall.gif
Infinite 150 has been my only choice since it's inception, I actually glad a telco offered such kind of plan... It was utterly HELL before this plan exist (and had to resort to some 'underhanded' stuff if you know what I mean), since my place have no landline.
*
I understand . Rm150 is very expensive . But it is cheaper than streamyx haha . You can imagine before the Harapan government I'm using RM169 per month only get 8mbps . I use it more than 10 years or more T_T . So now If I can get the speed like up to 30mbps and pay RM159 I think it is very very good for me.

In my place , there is no unifi , no unifi air . I ask again in TM point for unifi , they told me , They are planning to wired cable in my area . This word I heard many thousand times . I wont trust it anymore =,= . So I'm going to try out this Infinite 150 . But I dont know it is worth to try or not.

I thought I told you I have connected 6 devices? No issue la. Duh.

But your speed will not be enough for so many devices to run simultaneously. If everyone starts streaming, good luck to you.

Which router to buy is better but not too expensive?

Locked cannot use for other telcos.
Make sure it's an LTE-A router, CAT6 type to enjoy better speed. What MilesAndMore suggested is also good.
*
huh I thought buy router can use all telco sim card? Huawei got lock ? I try to find B618 , but i cant find it. Is B618 a model number?

TP-Link LTE router? But it's not that good though from what I have seen here.
Otherwise go for Huawei B525, it's a cheaper model. Huawei pulls signal better than other routers.

I found another router that under Huawei , 4G router Pro 2 . Can you please help me see is this can use on Digi infinite plan

Just expect it will be around that speed lo... CPE routers maybe add another 10Mbps if it is able to pull signal.
CPE routers will be more stable and suitable for long term usage.
*
But about RM600 is quit expensive . I think I will take the 4G router and try first . I think the router that I say can use also for digi infinite plan

All brother ,I need help here . Everyday my digi prepaid sim card will get 1GB free highspeed data . Before this I did speedtest every midnight(because data only available for midnight) ,and the speed I can get 40mbps - 60mbps sometimes .

So I got a Huawei 4G router pro 2 with me now . I use my same iphone did speedtest , inside my house I get 25mbps-30mbps . I put the card in the router and put it near window , and I use my iphone to connect and do speedtest , the speed is also get 25mbps -30mbps .

But after I put the card back to the iphone , and stand the same place where I put the router , I can get 45mbps -50mbps. Why is this happen? Can I get any setting to set that I can get the fastest speed? Or it is the router problem?

When I use iphone did speedtest , I got higher download speed but upload speed is between around 10mbps . But when I put inside the router , download speed and upload speed also can get 25mbps-30mbps.

If this speed at midnight, Is it worth to sign digi infinite 150 plan?
