Infinite 100 comes with speeds up to 10Mbps right? not 5Mbps as noted on the first page
*

Buy the B618-65D unlocked set or B818-263. You won’t regret it.

Besides these 2 routers, any cheaper option you can recommend? Reorganizing my internet budget to pair with infinite 150. Thanks.

I just purchase the Archer MR600 and malaysia set is EU model, as you can see it show EU - https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/download...mr600/#Firmware

Thanks for the link, I had upgrade the beta firmware and yes the band selection is there.
After band locked the performance is different. smile.gif

Hope soon final version is out, that confidential only for test wording is so ugly.

I’m considering this router as I’m reorganising (Budget)my house WiFi. What’s the average speed you are getting with it? Or is that the average speed you are getting in one of the pic? TQ

Average speed around 90 to 100 and so far until now still always in 4G+ signal 100%.

I am very satisfied with it so far.

Thanks 👍

Anybody who intends to buy B818-263 (FarEasTone - Taiwan Telco set) should do it fast as price only keeps increasing due to high demand. The price was less than RM500 back in April and May because many hesitated to buy.

I have both B618-65D unlocked V81 (MYS warranty) and B818-263 (FarEasTone - Taiwan Telco set) and both work great. Only complaint about B818-263 is the rather poor WiFi footprint. But given the price is almost RM200 cheaper than B618-65D, B818-263 is definitely still a good buy.

Another thing about the Taiwan B818-263 is that it is VoLTE enabled and it will work even with the normal phone line cable (no need RJ45 cable). I found the voice to be clearer compared to B618-65D too.

Thanks for the info. In Lazada it is selling around RM765, is that a good price? TQ

or would TP-Link MR6400 be sufficient? Even though it doesn't support 4G+ ?

No don’t get this router, I’m using it at the moment. No major complaint but you won’t be happy with it. Wasted on your 150 and you won’t get the full potential of the plan. I’m going to replace it soon.

Yes not just Digi, Maxis is also doing the same and their CS said they only recognise Speed Test results according to a Maxis member here.

Guys any router recommended for this sim? Is this good?

I was using it. It is a category 4 router the speed is ok not great (average between 10-37 sometimes above 40 mbps). I’m now using TP-Link MR600, category 6 router speed is much faster. If you are looking at TP-Link router get this MR600.
Shopee selling at $499 by the same seller in Lazada. I got a good deal during 12/12 at $330 plus bank card discount.

Most popular router here is Huawei B618 or 818. Too expensive for me.

How fast u get when using MR600?

Ya wasnt looking for Huawei as well.

Speedtest app I get 57mbps, Fast.com 77mbps. This is the first time my fast.com speed is faster than Speedtest app. On the old modem Mr6400 fast.com is usually below 15mbps but Speedtest app is above 40mbps. The forum members here said the Speedtest app is rigged by all the telcos here.

Hello everyone,
This new 150 from Digi is there any new T&C I should be aware of? Does Digi throttle the speed? I’m currently using Next 35 for my house WiFi and the average speed I’m getting is 70-80mbps. Can I expect the same speed with 150. I’m unable to find any new information in Digi community section.

We have been waiting for optics fabre ports, it is available now but my wife thinks we should wait as the the recent COVID-19 spike. Also yesterday we had a bad experience from the delivery guys who came to our house, long story. So wife does not want want anybody coming into the house.

I’m aware of the new contract for one year. Please share views. Thank you.

Had a chat with CS regarding the new 150
Can only hotspot for 3 devices
Each device speed is throttled 10mbps
FUP 1TB no refresh meaning when I finished it the plan it will fall back to the 85GB/150 postpaid plan
Penalty to cancel contract is RM30.

I don’t need that much data but would prefer Digi not to throttle the speed. 3 devices are not a problem for me.

Digi 150 unlimited has changed their T&C. Check my post #3979 here for further info. I suggest you speak to CS before you subscribe.

just wanna ask between digi broadband and digi normal postpaid data, which ones is better? mainly for gaming, steaming and work. only 3 ppl in house but mostly I am the ones using it. Any suggestion, I can get 4g 4 bar signal here. want to terminate unifi air as it is getting sucks lately with the high ping.

If you subscribe to Digi BB, the data is separated, one for movies streaming and main data. Package RM105 60Gb main data and 40GB streaming data. Will this meet your needs?

I asked him to check with CS regarding the new T&C as I made a suggestion to Digi to reconsider them. Digi hasn’t got back to me.

so they did really cap the speed? my avg speed was around 90mbps, then I activate unlimited hotspot addon suddenly drop to 10mbps.
damn I feel like kena tipu.
they even fuck with speedtest server to show uncapped speed. But obviously they can't screw with Netflix's FAST server which showed real reading.

can you point out to me which part of the tnc said this?
*
I couldn’t find the new T&C in Digi website. I called their CS to clarify and they confirmed it. I changed my mind and didn’t upgrade my prepaid Next to the new postpaid 150. I wrote to Digi that to throttle the speed to 10mbps is not user friendly. It will take forever just to update my phone iOS. I wanted it to watch Netflix too. Plus I’m not willing to allow some technicians to come into my house to install the optic fibre with the worsening of the pandemic.

I am setting up an external antenna for my B315 and... kinda dissapointed. shopee link
Not only there is almost no improvements, sometime I even stuck on really low speed with it enabled.

If I disable the antenna and use built-in I instantly get back to 20mbps+ speed...  ranting.gif

To my understanding, your B315 is a category 4 router, generally your speed will be around 20+mbps. If you want a faster speed you need to use a Cat6 and above router.
I have also read from others adding an antenna makes it worst.

digitalifelesss no that’s only advertised speed from the router company. My tplink router 4G cat4 download up 300 mbps. I never got that kind of speed, only max 35mbps mostly below 30 mbps. I changed to cat6 tplink 4G+ router i can get above 60mbps. Btw lately speed is not that good many are WFH
Of course I could be wrong.
