No issue for mine too. Almost two years and still strong.

Huge impact on area without HSBB since it is the best "HSBB" available for them (including me)

Yeah that could be the reason of congestion in some areas. My place here are all >40 years old houses and I'm sure a lot of them are retirees with grown up kids or working adults living here, we have UniFi and Maxis here, I bet all of them subscribed to either one of those.

Can share tonight when I'm back home.
Last night I simply run it was still around 125Mbps at 12.00 a.m., and around 110Mbps during peak time 8-10 p.m.

RSRP hovering around 64-66, I think that's considered good as I'm not living under the tower. laugh.gif

@fruitie thx so much, mine have been really bad for at least a couple of months now, it is at around 17+ Mbps only (1.6 - 2.2 mBps) after 2 or 3 AM, in the morning or afternoon its almost useless, the only thing i can use it for is messenger. The first couple of months it was 30Mbps++

i'm not using external modem, still using the phone and set it as hotspot, i'm not sure if i buy the huawei b618 will help or i would waste the money because my area is hopeless

Yeah, I think it is congestion in your area. Time to look for an alternative... sad.gif
I doubt a router will make any difference, if your phone can select band then try changing band. Good thing about router like B618 is it allows one to change band.

not really. pro n cons.

router receiption way better indoor. if your indoor signal is good then won't be much different.

router can get stable connection & lock band if some are congested.

What router are you using? Huawei B618 is having 4x4 MIMO antenna, cannot deny its ability in pulling signal.
