huawei modem can lock band and force 4G and can make calls.

Tplink is not recommeded. if u plan to buy, there alots 2nd resell at fb come with warranty. they resell cause upgrade to b618.

if u want cheap2 get huawei b310. can lock specific band.

most important how much is your budget.

if have budget just get b618 22d ver around rm350~rm500 2nd moded

Im looking for a cheap mifi for my digi i150. Any suggestion? Just looking for somethig cheap but decent. 10mbps capability is also fine.

Look around for Huawei E5573 or any cheap TP-Link M7300 will do.

i've been using infinate 150 about a year now. heard about got a discount from digi RM 30 every month. Anyone who know about this?

have't seing any i150 receive rm30 discount x12 month.. i only seing those i80 getting rm30 discount x 12 month.

have seen few people post, they try to port out to umobile then digi offered discount RM30 every month for 6 month. Did't know if this method still valid. Anyone who ever try this.

Just switch to Digi Postpaid 38 and buy unlimited data add-on for RM 10/5 days. So one month RM 98. Enjoy while it lasts, it may end anytime soon.

manually buy. is for 5 days only. it's an addons, so is not lifetime lol... wont auto renew and it's not stacking up the date.

Today i bought a new B618 model "B618s-22d".

Previously was using the -65d version that went kaput - it just could not hold its 4G connection and kept disconnecting very often every 2,5,10 minutes and so on. I thought it was Digi's problem so i bought a Celcom Xpax to try. Celcom was fine for about 30 minutes and thereafter disconnection problem continued. Locking to 3G on both networks was fine though.

As I was setting up the -22d version, I noticed the UI was different. And surprisingly, it has VoLTE function. I specifically bought the -65d version for its VoLTE capability (though never used a phone with it).

Another thing is now I could not find which LTE band and frequency the -22d is connected to. Anyone has a different UI on their -22d that can see the LTE band and frequency?

Both -22d and -65d are not locked and are Malaysian units (warranty can be checked and valid with Huawei Malaysia).

Software version: 11.195.03.00.00

u get 22d celcom set not lock? haha maybe u lucky first batch unlock set. why not send 65d for rma? same ui. go to setting>system>device informatrions

if u cant see band connection in devicce informations, 99% is modded units. and Volte also appear

I bought it from 3rd party, not sure it was a pre-lock Celcom unit or not. The warranty is 25 months up until March 2021.

What is "modded" unit about? ANything to be concerned of in terms of security?

Ambassador also got that unlimited data addon rm10 for 5 days

is modded firmware. warranty is void.

of coz u check via imei online still valid warranty period within coverage.

modded units, firmware flashed, units is being opened in order to unlock the 22d & flashed with custom firmware.

well just dont have warranty. is usable as long as still workings.

imei parts i'm not sure is it same as the box imei. if it's different then is modded with unlimited hotspot. can put those hotspot quota sim.
