no issue with iphone.

umobile was one of first to support volte and vowifi in malaysia, as an apple supported carrier, in 2016.

I can’t remember who was the first to lauch VoLTE in Malaysia but U Mobile was definitely the first to support VoWIFI and they are so generous with it by supporting roaming using VoWIFI too since the beginning. Digi was the second to launch VoWIFI. Digi roaming VoWIFI was only enabled a few months after it was launched.

Maxis on the other hand, like usual, refuses to switch on roaming VoWIFI even they too support VoWIFI now.

yesss correct! i am using umobile overseas now and wifi calling works great! digi also allow roaming wifi calling but their implementation really bad. not consistent like umobile

I've been using Digi VoWIFI overseas many times since it was enabled a few years ago, so far i never had issue unless the hotel's WiFi connection was bad.

noob question.. how does this roaming VoWifi works by the way?

is it need to subscribe to some roaming pass (or any plan that already have roaming data pass) in order to use it?

or is it, as long as it's activated, can use once connected to wifi when overseas?

Just toggle on WiFi Calling on your phone will do. When overseas, you will see the phone signal change to Digi WiFi Calling if you are successfully connected to Digi VoWIFI overseas via WiFi.

Any Infinite 150 user able to access 5G network with the free 5G booster?

I check DNB's 5G network coverage, my place should have 5G but I unable to detect 5G with IPhone 13

It won't revert but DiGi will charge you RM10 after the trial period ends, which is in May 2023
*
No. Digi Postpaid Infinite 100 and 150 can still use 5G for free after the trial period ends after 30th April 2023. Only Digi postpaid subscribers on plan lower than RM90 will need to pay RM10/month to turn on 5G.

sure. just raised the repackage plan price by rm5-10 only ma.

Am still using old Maxis Postpaid 98 plan. Maxis has been giving free 5G Access for more than a month already. Still paying the same price. But of course, if you want more data then your only option is to migrate to one of the new Maxis Postpaid plans.

It’s cheaper when comes bundled with Maxis Home Fibre since you get unlimited data for your mobile lines too.

Didn’t DiGi stop allowing 150 users to reset their quota once they reach 1tb?

How much are you actually using a month ?

68+60 = 128 and you will have 3TB of data

Not enough??
*
For Digi 150 Infinite speed is capped to 10Mbps once you reach 1TB for the current billing cycle and 10Mbps is more than suffice for general browsing, thus true unlimited data.

I returned to Malaysia after spending one month travelling overseas recently and noticed my signal changed from Digi to MY CelcomDigi. I have also been able to connect to 5G ever since ! I'm still on Digi Postpaid 150 Infinite plan.
