Well, talk about their "fast" quota reset, complaint made and case ID received at 4/25/2020 10:08:02, quota reset done at 4/25/2020 11:37:10

Not even 24 hours after telling me it takes 48-72 hours to forward the issue, just had to tell them that this is unacceptable during this MCO period.

I guess they are certainly "guilty" of the quiet implementation of throttling after 300 GB of usage.

Same, contacted them on 10am
Claims need 72hrs to reset, 5hrs later I received sms saying it is done. ranting.gif

Why ranting.gif? I don't understand. Isn't the faster the better?

Well, that's the standard script to not over-committing things, who knows may screw up later.

Were they ever that efficient before?
Still, it's a win-win. rclxms.gif

Used to be 24 hours at least from my experience, so MCO does have some advantages to it. Haha

Ain't mad to their CS, just not that happy about the 300GB quota..
Yes I can understand why they need to lower the quota and kudos for their fast reset
But it is still a bit annoying.... sad.gif

I have never asked for reset before so have no idea. I'm back in hometown and using UniFi, totally not using Infinite. Wonder can I suspend my line temporarily? I used to do that when I go overseas for a longer period.

I let my financially struggling neighbours ride on my network hence the heavy usage, had to ask Digi to reset quota for me for the past 2 months.
Their chat is still available during MCO, give them a poke.

I'm currently using digi infinite 150 with tether from my huawei p20 phone and i've been using it extensively on ps4, pc, laptop and even the laptop for my work.

Most of the times the lines are ok, but there are occasional signal drop/connection lost which im not sure if the use of modem would solve this issue.

Does anyone know if using the external modem can get better reception/speed compared to phone?

In short its a yes
But I'll say the receiption/speed is subjected to your external modem power/performance.
For instance, many here recommend Huawei B618, you may search and read up the thread in this forum.

Thanks thumbup.gif
Just tell them you need to reset quota due to slowdowns, they won't ask for more information.

Finally got my B618-65D, get Hmanager, and set my band to B3+7.

Tested with auto mode, single band, n 3+7. Band 3+7 give me most stable and highest results from fast.com and ookla’s speedtest.

The speed was pretty stable. I tried to download a 1GB files and it took 7 mins to complete. So the download speed is about 2.3MBps or 18Mbps averagely.

As of the line quality.. it wasnt that good with 35dBi antenna.

Been running around the house ans tried outdoor, this is the best i could get. And most of the time the SINR can drop until -1dBi, which is very poor. However, still manage to get 50Mbps tru speedtest when it is -1dBi.

Have anyone experienced such an incident. When I'm using my default phone data to tether to my PC, I'm getting good speed with speed test at fast.com up to 50-70mbps. When I try with my Digi infinite 150, I'm only getting like 30mbps. I asked DIGI CS but they couldn't answer this but giving me a very PR response. I wonder any member here face problem like this

Speed throttle after 1tb is understandable. But speed throttle after 300gb is unaceptable for something called Infinite.

avoid modem brand others than huawei. mr600 just a 4G modem. if u got budget limited can try b310 or the b818 taiwan model 4G modem. least or not they can lock band. others brand are unable to lock band as cant use hmanager too. if your indoor signal not good, u really need to learn read the signal and find a best spot to locate the modem for u to get a stable connection n good speed.

i been talk a whole round around my house and outdoor dy with external antenna. The best i can get is 17dBi but always jump down to 0 from time to time.

day time i still can get 4G+, but when night time, shows 4G only with stable speed of around 40Mbps.
