Yes that was true, this is another way that I think more easy (I do this on my jpj test smile.gif ). Before releasing the handbrake, turn off the aircon, this is important to get nice engine timing if you don’t familiar with the clutch pedal yet, release the clutch slowly and look at the rpm meter, hold the clutch when rpm show slightly below 1k (its need to be below 1k but not to low), by this time you can feel the car want to move forward, then press the fuel pedal and rev the rpm/engine until 3k or 3.5k and above then release the handbrake and off you go.
