Wait for HRCT and re-consult the pulmonologist.

QUOTE(az89 @ Oct 20 2018, 04:12 PM) The cxr image not on diagnostic value, but definitely something going on your left upper lung. how fast it will spread if TB active, will taken xray in between 2 weeks time can see the different? That kinda lung patch/scar looking usually seen on patient with TB regardless it active or not. If the TB active you should be worried. The patch will be bigger/worst when you go for follow up x-ray. If it is old scar resulting from your previous lung infection( could be pneumonia and a bunch of other stuff) Doctor still need to do all those tb,sputum ,etc test just to make sure you’re clear from any risk of active TB infection. I’ve seen few patient come with xray like that but when go for tb test come out as normal. If all wahtever test doctor suggest you turn out normal....just safely assume it’s not an active infection...just an old lung scar. Just do regular follow up based on doctor recommendation. It could be a month,3 month,6month or yearly check up..just to see the progress of that lung pacth. I do not have any lung infection before or staying in hospital. Is it possible I get lung infection and I healed like those pneumonia without I realize? Previously I got fever few month back so I eat panadol, after 3 day the fever come back, then I feels not right and consult doctor, he give me some anti biotic I not sure izzit pneumonia which impact my lung as this word is very common when I get fever in past. The doctor did not xray me etc. I think in future I will go yearly checkup. . since this case really turn my view and perception on health field. QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Oct 20 2018, 07:00 PM) Just hope it isn't pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. Construction workers in China without protective gear have this causing their lungs to turn to stone. This is cause by inhaling fine sand and dust. don't think so, I don't work construction.QUOTE(dr0olingb0at @ Oct 20 2018, 10:06 PM) Interstitial pattern can be due to aging, scarring from previous injury. QUOTE(Exenetide @ Oct 22 2018, 10:28 AM) private...today collect blood report and ask the pulmonologist.. he said blood is normal, no comment for me.. but still wait for HRCT.. so I question a lot what he suspect or what in his mind. Basically he said best case is old fibrosis which no treatment or anything to be done. If its fibrosis which is active then need medicine treatment. If not this 2 then maybe other infection or disease. He cant tell anything till he get HRCT report. Then i ask am i suspicious of TB? he said he dont think i have TB. haih.... |
