The only reason that people avoid Dell notebooks is the boring design. The new models sound promising..

Erm.. 1520 is the lowest end so I doubt 8600M GT is available on it. I believe that the components in our notebooks are as good as other top brands. The boring design is the only con for me.

If their design can match Sony Vaio...... imagine.. you can see people carry Dell notebook everywhere.

Still so thick... I think there might be reason for the thick design.

The performance of 8600 is just on par with x1600? I thought 7600 should be the one?

Other manufactures have their 15.4" notebook lighter than Dell's. Maybe Dell doesn't want to spend too much in keeping the components smaller.

If I am not wrong, we will be able to get these models within this week. The Dell representative told me this.

Hey guys.. don't be so tempted. Don't forget your complete cover warranty. Now, what are we going to do is to wait until their stocks depleted and we... BANG! Just kidding. I am going to extend my notebook warranty for 2 more years.

Haha.. they won't survive with the CompleteCover Guard available. So, it's possible that we will never get it. I think there's no VGA to DVI adapter but just DVI to VGA only.

Please... toll free call is only applied on line phone. You are never going to call without paying even if it's toll free as you are using handphone.
