QUOTE(VeeJay @ Mar 20 2019, 02:18 PM) aiyo....really?!!! man thats bad.....i presume, it had not been opened previously or any rma for the hulk issue previously? QUOTE(Ethan @ Mar 20 2019, 03:04 PM) First of all, what's your phone la? Mate 20 is IP54 rated. 5: Protected from limited dust ingress 4: Protected from water spray from any direction, limited ingress protection Mate 20 Pro is IP68 rated. 6: Protected from total dust ingress 8: Protected from long term immersion up to a specified pressure, limited ingress protection QUOTE(twtang @ Mar 20 2019, 03:39 PM) QUOTE(haziqmck7 @ Mar 20 2019, 05:23 PM) I bring all my previous ip68 phone under water. But if anything happen i know the risk la. Haha. Because warranty not cover for water damage usually Guys, 1st i need to emphasis that the phone is not under Huawei and i did ask the technician, the LCD screen has issue is not because of water issue. There is no water mark/ water sign says this phone has went into water before. It just happened right after i put my phone in the swimming pool.So lucky me. Secondly, im here not to bash Huawei so dont get me wrong. Im here to share. since the service center is also under Huawei, i did ask abit of Huawei quality as im looking for phone for my dad. As mentioned, Huawei battery has problem with bulging. So guy, when charge that time please dun use it. Unplug then only use. If not it will create more heat as it is charging n use at the same time. And, of course there is some minor issue here n there. Lastly, there is a lot of Mate 20 series went into RMA issue due to, people like me. Take phone into pool or sea. So, not sure whether they really unlucky or the built quality really is one of the concern. So, now i think im pulling out from Huawei for temporary of time. |

QUOTE(wayfeel @ Mar 21 2019, 03:14 PM) maybe.at first i thought is water leaked into my phone. so i shove it and try to get the water out. 2ndly i try to blow with the hair dryer to dry the internal. but all seems failed. the middle part of the screen unable to touch and also, the screen run haywire. it touches by itself, e.g., open own apps, randomly call or video call contacts, etc, etc. |
