Just called up Huawei Experience Store by Urban Republic at Queensbay mall and was told by one of stuff that the pre-order must b collected on/before 31-Oct, if not the free gifts, talkband B5 and wireless charger will be forfeited. There is no such clause in the T&C's Tri-E pre-order website, only must collect before 31-Dec else deposit/payment forfeited.

Anyone here not collecting your pre-order before 31-Oct?

Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series Pre-order Campaign ("Campaign")

1: INTRODUCTION

1.1: The Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series Pre-Order Campaign ("Campaign") website, 3ex.com.my, (“Site”) is operated by Tri-E Multimedia Sdn Bhd (867841-X) (“TEM”), an independent third party of Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (545949-D) ("Huawei"). The terms and conditions, term of use and the Privacy Policy stated in this Site will be construed as the terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") of this Campaign on which Huawei offers you ("Customer") access to and use of this Site for the purposes of this Campaign. Whilst the Campaign includes the pre-order of Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series, the pre-order via this Site is provided by TEM as an independent third party. Huawei and its affiliates are not party to the pre-order between the Customer and TEM. The Customer shall have no other cause of action against Huawei under this Site.

1.2: Customer agrees to comply with all the Terms and Conditions when accessing or using this Site.

1.3: By participating in this Campaign and with the purchase of Huawei Matebook at this Site, Customer will be entitled to receive rewards which consists of one (1) Huawei Talkband B5.

1.4: By participating in this Campaign and with the purchase of Huawei Mate 20 at this Site, Customer will be entitled to receive rewards which consists of one (1) Huawei Talkband B5 and one (1) Huawei “SoundStone” Portable Bluetooth® Speaker.

1.5: By participating in this Campaign and with the purchase of Huawei Mate 20 Pro at this Site, Customer will be entitled to receive rewards which consists of one (1) Huawei Talkband B5 and one (1) Huawei Wireless Charger.

1.6: The pre-order quantity in this Campaign is limited to first come first serve basis and while stocks last.

1.7: The sale transaction in this Campaign is only between TEM and the Customer. Huawei only provides the recommended retail price ("RRP") on this Site.

2: CAMPAIGN MECHANICS

The following are the steps for the Campaign:

Step 1: Choose your Mate (Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro or Matebook)

Step 2: Choose a colour

Step 3: Choose your delivery method & details

If SELF-COLLECT is selected

Choose collection point

Provide your personal details

If DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERY is selected

Provide delivery address

Provide your personal details

Step 4: Choose your payment option (Deposit, Full payment or Instalment Plan)

Step 6: Make payment

Step 7: Get pre-order confirmation upon a successful payment

Step 8: Get the product you have pre-ordered from <collection point>

If SELF-COLLECT is selected

Print the confirmation email

Go to the chosen collection point

Verify with your MyKad with the last 6 digits given

Pay remaining amount (if deposit is selected)

Receive the product

If DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERY is selected

Receive the product at the designated address that you have provided

3: DURATION

This Campaign will run from 19th October 2018, 10:00:00 to 22nd October 2018, 23:59:59 ("Campaign Period"). TEM reserves the right to shorten, extend or cancel the Campaign Period without prior notice, while stocks last.

4: ELIGIBILITY

4.1: This Campaign is open to all Malaysia citizens of 18 years old and above with a MyKad; except Huawei employees (and their immediate families), its related agencies, retailers and dealers.

4.2: Each Customer is only entitled to pre-order one (1) unit of Huawei Matebook and/or one (1) unit of Huawei Mate 20 Series.

5: PAYMENT

5.1: Customer acknowledges, understands and agrees that all transactions are between Customer, TEM, and the selected outlet only.

5.2: Customer is not allowed to cancel the pre-order, change the selected colour of the pre-ordered Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series and the selected collection outlet once Customer has successfully completed and confirmed the transaction.

5.3: Deposit of RM300.00 (“Deposit”) is not refundable and not transferrable.

5.4: If the Deposit is made by the Customer during the Campaign, the Customer shall pay the balance amount directly to the selected collection outlet upon collection.

6: COLLECTION

6.1: If the deposit payment is made by the Customer during the Campaign, the Customer shall collect the pre-ordered Huawei Matebook and/or Mate 20 Series from 27th October 2018 to 31st December 2018 during operation hours of the selected collection outlet. In the event Customer failed to collect the Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series within the period stated herein, the Deposit/Payment will be forfeited.

6.2: TEM reserves the right to change the collection date without prior notice.

7: CUSTOMER'S COVENANTS

7.1 In connection to this Campaign and placing the Pre-Order, Customer will not use this Site:

a) to submit fraudulent order, false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libellous information;

b) to transfer Customer's pre-order to another party;

c) to distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm TEM, or the interests or property of other users;

d) to export the unit purchased except in compliance with the export control laws of relevant jurisdictions and in accordance with posted rules and restrictions;

e) in the event TEM suspects or discovers that the Customer is abusing this Campaign and/or TEM in any of the ways mentioned above or otherwise, TEM may, at our sole discretion, take necessary steps to prevent and mitigate such abuse such as limiting, suspending, or terminating the Customer's user account(s) and access to this Site, delaying or removing hosted content, removing any special status associated with Customer account(s), reducing or eliminating any discounts, and taking technical and/or legal steps to prevent Customer from using this Site.

8: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1: TEM uses its reasonable effort to keep this Site safe, secure, and functioning properly, but TEM does not guarantee the continuous operation of or access to this Site.

8.2: Customer agrees that he/she is making use of this Site at his/her own risk, and that it is being provided to Customer on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

8.3: To the extent permitted by applicable law, TEM excludes all express or implied warranties, terms and conditions including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8.4: Customer shall assume full responsibility in case of any accident, damage or claim resulting from participating in this Campaign.

8.5: Customer shall be deemed to be able to perform legally binding contract upon his/her submission of the pre-order and there shall not be any refund or costs whatsoever arising from his/her violation of the minimum age stated herein.

8.6: Warranty of the Huawei Matebook and/or Mate 20 Series is subject to standard product warranty coverage as per terms and conditions of the warranty as stated in Huawei official website at [url=http://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/]http://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/[/url]. Customer is advised to check the abovementioned website from time to time and stay informed for any changes on the terms and conditions of the warranty.

8.7: All transportation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses arising out of the collection of the pre-ordered Huawei Matebook and/or Mate 20 Series are the Customer's sole responsibility.

9: INDEMNITY

Customer will fully indemnify and hold TEM (and our affiliates, and our and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by himself/herself or any third party due to or arising out of his/her breach of these Terms and Conditions, improper use of the site or breach of any law or the rights of a third party.

10: GENERAL

11.1: No trade up or trade in (with other mobile phone) is allowed in this Pre-Order Campaign. This Campaign is strictly for the pre-order of the Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series without any trade up or trade in transaction between Customer and selected collection outlet.

11.2: In the event Customer have queries with regard to the Campaign; please call 3ex Customer Support at +603 8076 1313 for clarification.

11.3: TEM reserves the right to make amendments to the Terms and Conditions of the Campaign herein without prior notice.

11.4: TEM reserves the right to disqualify any submissions for pre-order in the event of violation of any of the Terms and Conditions.

11.5: In the event of any discrepancies between the information that Customer has submitted with regards to the pre-order and the information provided during collection of the Huawei Matebook & Mate 20 Series at the selected collection outlet for any reasons whatsoever, TEM shall not be responsible for any loss or costs arising from such discrepancies howsoever caused.

11.6: In case of any dispute, TEM reserves the right to make the final decision and shall have the right to cancel, disqualify the pre-order or forfeit the deposit necessarily.

11.7: By participating in this Campaign, Customer fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts the Terms and Conditions.

11.8: By participating in this Campaign, Customer agrees to grant TEM and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, agents, independent contractors and advertising/promotion agencies the use of his/her full details submitted through this Campaign, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11.9: In the event of inconsistencies between the terms and conditions found elsewhere with regard to this Campaign (if any) and the Terms and Conditions herein, the latter shall prevail.

11.10: These Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

I agree to the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that the device and free gifts collection date is from 27-Oct-2018 to 31-Dec-2018

The more accurate test would be with a grey background and not black/dark background. For example, the number pad on the default dialer or Google Clock.

They might just talk crap so that u won't viral the issue, and they are covering their a$$, furthermore there are many service centres and not sure how they system links up, so they might not know anything.

But anyway Huawei MY covers the issue quite well, nothing viral on mainstream media/channels.

Even huawei吹水站, all posts related to this issue are gone.

Yea, that's where I joined many huawei groups knowing some of them are bias and cover up, and in fact many are affecting by the green tint issue.

Damn boring in huawei吹水站, always only those great photos showing off posts.

Huh, really? This is just blow water group and I can see all the admins doesn't seem to be working with Huawei MY, Technave is one of the admins and I think got big sponsored by Huawei MY thus delete all negative posts.

Haha, no wonder no more green tint posts on the FB huawei blow water group, submitting new post must be approved by admins.. this group got around 84k people, so is very easy to get viral about anything.
