I think for my case, it depend... sometime very fast but sometime need few attempts... could be due to my finger tends to be feel oily and my screen finger print area maybe not as clean as always... hahahah... plus my finger tends to be dry too which might not so smooth on the print area hehehe!!

This are like hints the screen could be inferior quality.

My thought will be cut cost since Huawei phone one of the cheapest. Just pray.

The OLED from two companies, LG n BOE. The one got green color one is LG.

My one is LG spec. If I use Device Info HW app to do the screen test those full pages color especially black one note issue. If grey, look like got very mild green reflection at edge. It really not noticeable.

Certain app which have grey background will be affected. Not sure it's hardware or software problem.

It is not normal.. I have using s7 Edge till S9 Plus.. All edge screen and have no such tinting.

Well ya.. I switched to mate 20 Pro for the awesome camera but overall experience... I still prefer Samsung more. Missing the better speakers, display and user interface. Samsung blue filter works marvellously for me.. I had to download a few apps to lower the screen brightness at a acceptable level at night.. Though we aren't supposed to look at screens in dark room.. Lolz

But... I love the battery and the charging speed.. Awesome! Unplugged from 7am till now still left 50% with Spotify and waze around 2 hours continuously.. 👍👍

Not sure if mrwhosetheboss is using the default 10mp or 40mp for the shots to be compared to pixel 3.. But from all his videos, most probably he used the default setting which is 10mp. In this case pixel 3 wins as the default lens mp is higher.

I was actually deciding between m2p or p3xl but gosh, the 'smiley' notch is another level. Their photo processing algorithm is in the highest level. Love their night sight though tend to over sharpened and blown some of the images.

I download rootless pixel launcher to replace the emui awful big icons launcher. Now thinking if I should switch back to Samsung or stick till s10 is out. One thing about Samsung... The secondhand value is gone!! Too many resellers throwing out new sets at much lower price and caused used phone dropped 50% from its retail price.. P20p can even sell higher.

Samsung is ready to fight back Huawei i think... A7pro with 3 lenses and a9 Pro with 4 lenses.. Next time we will see 10 lenses behind a phone 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Even only edge and can see only at no light condition I won't take it.

My screen is like this now. If u view from different angle u will still see bleeding from the side and around the notch area.

If it stay like this, no spreading then i am satisfied already. Cant ask for too much now. Since it didnt affect my daily use at all.
