My finger print security is fast enough but I prefer physical button which can scan. But too bad Mate 20 Pro don't have.

For me, everytime go thru passport finger verfication, need to scan few times versus Mate 20 Pro which far better. Most of the time, one time scan will open in Mate 20 Pro. Well...... let test more..... cos I just use it since yesterday.

Btw, my hand is like those old man hand which dry and thumprint not smooth.

It is frustrating to use the optical fingerprint as mentioned above. Hence, better turn it off and get improved bettery life according to GSMarena. Just use the facial recognition. Hoping that Samsung's S10 in-display ultrasonic fingerprint coming next year will not have this problem.

Just wondering, to those who are having the green tint issue, are you guys planning to do an exchange or straight get a refund?

No need to download 3rd party app. Just:

1. Open setting>battery>darken interface color
2. Make sure you're in dark room (bathroom, switched off lights, whatever)
3. Turn the screen brightness to the lowest for best effect
4. Open dialer app & observe

Btw, anyone managed to migrate the whatsapp backup from ios 12 to this mate 20 pro? I thinking to get the paid app  wazzapMigrator to do the trick, but some users reported not working for mate 20 pro... anyone succeeded pls share your method! 

Download device info HW, then at touch panel there is a long number of codes, in between the lines if u saw "LG" then is definitely an LG panel as for batch number would be on the same codes last two digit. Refer to the earlier page for the sample info. As for my case the green tint is bare minimum and is not as serious as some other users but time will tell.

I would probably try it on another basic old android phone see work or not, if successful migrated to old android build, just backup the old android whatsapp to gdrive and restored to mate 20 pro from gdrive...

some said the last 2 digit is the batch, but some said it's not the batch no., it's simply the driver code.... no really sure though.. few said they got replaced the 51 to 43 and so far so good...  :thumbsup:
