I did a conversion based on some of the past pricing in Malaysia. The conversion rate should be somewhere around 3.8-3.9.

So, my expectation on the prices should be as follows:
Mate 20 Pro = EUR1,049 = RM3,999 to RM4,099
Mate 20 X = EUR899 = RM3,399 to RM3,499
Mate 20 = EUR799 = RM2,999 to RM3,099

After awhile (a month or two), prices may drop even further, maybe an additional RM300 to RM500. If buying at pre-launch and they give some really good freebies, it may be worth buying. Otherwise, probably Note 9 or OP6T for me.

The mate 20 X can be used with m pen from the ads I saw. How does it work? Is it the same as Samsung note series with the pen hole build in or the m pen is actually an external gear to carry along?

That's why.
The M pen cannot slot in with the phone together. Poor decision by huawei.
