Last two days Mate 20x was sold at RM2599 in Huawei Malaysia website. I believe the price will drop very soon.

Mate 20 Pro launched in Oct 2018 & Mate 20x launched in Nov 2018. Can estimate it may reduce before P30 Pro & Mate 20x 5G officially launched in Malaysia.

I'm guessing the price reduction is with the anticipation of the Galaxy S10 Trio.
I must say Samsung stepped up this year and gave it all.

2699RM for the S10e with free Galaxy Buds is a bargain.
Even the S10+ priced at 3499 is much more competitive than when Huawei launched their Mate series.

That's also the cost of being an early adopter in the case of Mate 20 Pro. They paid more to get it first.
Anyway, healthy competition is good for us consumers so let's not bash Samsung or Huawei and instead rejoice that they are making their phones more affordable for us now.

3699 actually

still good for us that mainstream android flagships prices had been pretty stagnant for the past 2 or 3 years unlike apple

Hi guys, i just bought mate 20 pro, just wondering did any of guys have bluish/greenish color on the curve edge? I did some research, i dont think it is the gluegate but more like white angular dependency.

Something like in this website.

indeed..what wont be suprising is when P30 Pro releases S10 will slash its prices next, then when Note10 comes out P30's prices get slashed so on..

Thats one thing great about Android markets, more choices and prices are always competitive and choices aplenty!

And technology keeps getting updated. Not like other brands bragging about catch-up "innovations"!

It will be a long wait... laugh.gif

I got the email from Huawei on their new M20 Pro’s price and it says “Flash Sale”. Wondering if it’s a promo or if the price cut is permanent...

Yup, good for consumers as a whole, but not great for early adopters.

For the sake of discussion though, don’t you guys think it would have been quite a statement of intent if they had launched their Mate 20 Pro at RM2999? Imagine the additional sales volume they missed out on. I know I would have gotten one at that price smile.gif
