Just wanna check with Mate 20 Pro users. If the camera resolution set to 40MP, the camera can use zoom or wide lens? Find out that Mate 20x unable to do it. Wonder why can't do it or any reason?

Because it use something like super sampling on Nokia 808 or down scaling, mix 4-8 pixel into 1 pixel when you use 10mp mode.

So if you use it full 40mp or 38mp 4:3/34mp 16:9 on 808, it can't zoom.

But capture with 40mp later cropping also a good trick.

Ya well said but good to have it even I never use 40MP resolution. Maybe ZOOM & Wide Angle future will have this feature when most cameras can shoot 100MP photo. Lol.....

Many complaint about Mate 20x 4g+ issue. Is it really affect you much? I think it is up to Telco to update their band frequency right? Mate 20x start offer with Telco plan if not mistaken.

Eh? What is the problem? It's just some cosmetic issue since we're getting those speeds anyway.

Due to Mate 20x not (or yet) compatible to Malaysia Telco Lte Band of 4G+. I not really understand much of LTE band here since got so many frequency. If you go compare the specification, Mate 20x got lesser as compare to Mate 20 Pro. 4G+ vs 4G really big difference in broadband speed if you do speedtest.

Unless the phone future can evolve into bucky size or at least thicker. Otherwise it won't happen.
Because not only mega pixel. If you put more mp in same size sensor, size per pixel will decrease mean light also decreased. There was a nono for photography.

Or equip optical zoom, so no pixel will lost on zooming.

Oh dude this sucks. Interesting how it became yellow from green. You don't wanna change for another one that is BOE? The phone is good on its own sans the screen.

One understated feature that I actually appreciate is the Huawei Share. It's like iphone's air drop but works with all huawei devices even those entry level. since my wife also uses huawei it's easy for us to share pictures when we travel and it's full res.

Nah. No confidence in their curve screen tech yet. Might go for 20x since it has all the good things about mate 20 Pro minus the problematic oled and slow fingerprint sensor.

Nothing special on the case. His phone will get green at first. Then meet black spot after go out lunch and keep using phone about half to one hour(phone not hot at all)
Then eventually its screen will go white under sunlight (when high brightness)

Disable auto brightness and don't increase brightness to 70% will not trigger white screen.
And finger print need to disable too because it will temporally increase brightness.

So conclude, go sc....

Saw my Mate 20x showed 4G+ under Maxis at Sri Muda, Shah Alam.

My m20p show 4g+ everywhere even on me live de small town.
But speed gg...

M20 pro so far no one complained cos easy to get. For me not big issue, 4G+ out for me also no use, speed still slow in Malaysia. Lol. P

Is it just me or the replacement set's screen seems a bit off?
