Nope.. I use it a month without sp or tempered glass. No a single scratch.... For sure. Got cover.

mine also using original cover case, also cant see anything under normal eye but i can see some very very fine hairline scratch under the torchlight when i applied my SP arrived 1 month later from taobao.

so it is better to use sp before it is too late...

Me use third party cover under light the screen no scratch.
Apply tempered glass 1 week ago but it seen it will came off one day.

First week already I kena scratched (just a small 3mm on the screen) not sure caused by what. Maybe keys, coin or something metal. Lucky when I replace my screen because of green tint, they changed the screen for me. After that, straight got myself a SP.

My heavy duty casing arrived.

Lovely. Fits almost as well as the in-box TPU. I like the high lip around the screen.

Will add lanyard holes and a lanyard later.

Oh no my green screen has gotten worse to black screen 😭

I have yet to visit Huawei SC due to schedule conflict. Anybody else experiencing the same? See on the right side of screen.

Found "special features" of Mate 20x. The phone put my Dell laptop to sleep when I accidentally put the phone front of the keyboard area. I tried again after the screen back to normal and it happened again. Better stay away in case may damage the phone since not sure what trigger the laptop.

Man.. So this too is a known issue. I thought it's just the green screen. As long as the SC would give me a replacement then it would be better.

I think most of us only have the green tint issue. But the dark area at the side of the screen is definitely a defect.

It has NFC.

Maybe your Dell also has NFC and it decided to do something, like go to sleep.

Good reason but I didn't enable my Mate 20x NFC and my company laptop no such function enabled too.

You using a flip case?
Have magnet?
Modern laptop have a magnet in the screen and when you close it, the sensor in the keyboard side detect the magnet, Jr will off the screen as usual.

Yes original flip case. Bingo... This is a magnet inside the cover when we open the back cover. I thought it was the lens trigger it. Thanks sifu.

It is common issue, don't give excuse yourself with conflict reason, later too late and cannot change just know.

Better ASAP go exchange it.
