Sorry for asking, what so special about the esim
*
It's not so much eSIM being special, rather than the latest iPhones are "dual SIM phones" but with only one SIM slot available in them.

This means that you can only put in one physical SIM card, while the other line you'll have to use via the eSIM technology.

Unless you get the iPhone XS Max Hong Kong version... or China (more expensive) and I think also Macau...

(Not sure if I understand your question correctly. smile.gif )

There is no option to off the secondary sim, however it may be “turned off” by not unlocking the sim pin which mean you would need to turn the sim pin on. When the system prompt you for the pin, just press continue with one sim.

I've never thought of doing that, sounds like a good idea. rclxms.gif But at the same time... will the phone sense that secondary SIM card's presence and keep on prompting for password? Hope not. smile.gif

I think those in the queues were more foreigners than Singaporeans laugh.gif
Read in the news that first in the queue was a 20-year old Vietnamese guy, his sister right behind him, and ... they're part of a 44-member Vietnamese group! shocking.gif

I was expecting PRCs like the past years. Maybe it's something to do with this eSIM models so they decided to stay home instead? hmm.gif

Forget the Sim pin = gg

I just have the same PIN for whatever SIM card I use, so won't forget. Too many PINs and PWs in life these days. ohmy.gif

Because I love both devices. Need opinion from people who already owned it. All I know is the screen and battery is bigger.

From the older models, I've used the normal as well as Plus ones and found the Plus size very comfortable. Then after using the iPhone X all this while, I chose the Max without any hesitation because it has the bigger display and I knew I'd be comfortable with a bigger size too. smile.gif

I'd suggest you go back and try both sizes again. If you really like a bigger display, see if you'll be able to give yourself a chance to get used to a bigger size in your hands.

It's pretty much an individual's choice. nod.gif
